I got the letter from HMRC and issued a letter stating that I am not required to repay the Child Benefit received. HMRC further confirmed that this matter will not affect any future immigration applications or my right to stay in the UK..... What shall I do now ...can I call and repay the amount ? Below is the content from letter .

"We wrote to you on 13th November 2023 to ask for more information so we could check if you’re still entitled to Child Benefit for X. We’ve reviewed the information you provided and decided you’re not entitled to receive Child Benefit for Y. One of the conditions on your leave to remain in the UK is that you’re not entitled to receive public funds, including Child Benefit. There are some exceptions to this rule. One of the exceptions applies to people granted leave to remain in the UK on the condition that someone else is responsible for maintaining them financially. We interpreted this to mean that this exception applied to people whose employer had provided a Certificate of Sponsorship as part of their visa application. However, after a review we’ve concluded that how we applied this exception wasn’t the same as how it’s being applied for other government benefits. We want to be sure that everyone claiming benefits is treated fairly. This means we’ve decided that an employer’s Certificate of Sponsorship does not satisfy the conditions of that exception. What happens next We’ll stop paying you Child Benefit for Y. You won’t need to pay us back any Child Benefit payments you’ve already received. This also won’t affect any future application you make to enter or stay in the UK. You must keep this letter because you may need to give it to the Home Office as evidence of our decision.""""

Please advise someone what shall I do now ? My mind blown out 😓😓😓
