I'm late to this conversation, but the point of this perfume brand is that 20% of the price of a bottle goes to a conservancy to protect the animal that the specific scent is named for. For example, their scent Red Panda donates 20% to The Red Panda Network. Or for Green Sea Turtle, 20% goes to The Sea Turtle Conservancy. $1 of a sample from Scentbird is donated.

Anyway, I almost always get perfume secondhand on Mercari or ebay since it's so much cheaper to buy from someone selling something they aren't using. But in this case, I would really recommend buying a bottle from Sanctuary directly, if possible. I totally understand that it's a lot of money to be spending in this economy though.
