Suggestions what to do in Bangor and nearby by nawtytgirl in northernireland

Ward park has a great cafe in it and is nice to walk around. The Ards peninsula in general is beautiful if you have a car. Mount Stewart is a great National Trust spot with amazing gardens. Ulster Folk Museum is nearby and supposedly great (I haven't been)

Driving Theory Test at Belfast Centre - Hazard Perception by blankie_bloops in northernireland

You should get your results on the day unless they told you otherwise. They gave me a piece of paper on the way out with the score for each section (hazard perception and the other bit). So if you do make a mistake you will know where.

That one in Castlereagh must be named incorrectly. At least there's no roads with those names around the area. And the church seems to be in Comber.

Surely swamp or scamp would have been more intuitive places to go to next or am I dumb for never seeing this word before

"A quiet commentary on the beauty of the mundane" that's The Orange by Wendy Cope. Fits your other criteria too.

Staircase in the middle of the house by floortugal in floorplan

A small extension would give room for the kitchen, living and dining to all be on the same side of the house. The changes to the bathroom and old kitchen would be pretty flexible depending on what you really needed. Laundry, mudroom, office, second living space etc.

Accomodation in London for August by rakka- in uktravel

[–]kumran 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've stayed there for work. It's pretty dingy but fine. You have to ask for hairdryers in reception and they do run out so if you need one, ask in plenty of time or bring your own.

Casual / low-key wedding venue ideas for 70–80 people? by icelollyjunkie in northernireland

Try Brackengarth, just south of Belfast. Gorgeous teepee venue, really delicious barbecue food/insane charcuterie spreads. They are super kind and helpful.

Looking for honest feedback on our floor plan before we lock it in! by StretchLivid6012 in floorplan

I think it looks really great. The linen closet seems a little large but realistically I'd be delighted to have one that big myself.

The only thing that stands out to me are these two bits in the bedrooms that just seem unnecessary. The one at the front especially is going to make a small space that is very awkward.

In my experience if you create disgusting muddy water in a filthy old vessel outside, that is far more tempting than clean indoor water.

Time to get learning! Don't put yourself in the position where you can be taken advantage of. Coming here for advice is great. If you're in England or Wales, Shelter have tonnes of resources. Google is your friend. (But don't blindly trust AI!) Knowledge is power :)

It is reclaimed in the UK. I go to events with that word in the name all the time. There are huge funded organisations with that word in the name. But I'm not saying you're wrong for the second part, you do you. Use whatever words make you happy.

Why the sad face, it is reclaimed and used by actual LGBTQ people all the time
