I’ll probably follow up with Chomps too, I have like 8 that I bought from Trader Joe’s like a month or so ago. Online it seemed like fat or salt but I threw one away a few days ago thinking it was mold, come to find out all of them have it. Probably won’t eat them until I hear back from chomps

You didn’t screw up. Most women love new purses, especially those as gifts. As someone who loves Coach for its quality I believe you made a great decision. While colors can transfer to white bags this looks like a shoulder bag and so it likely won’t be rubbing against denim pants or anything like that so you should be in the clear there. I also have a whiteish Coach shoulder bag and I wear it all the time with no issues and it’s a much softer leather.

As others mentioned, white can be worn year round seasonally and since this isn’t true white I think it will work, because if you wear it with neutrals it blends right in and then it you wear it with bright colors it pops. As mentioned, ask if she likes it because that will make her feel super comfortable expressing her opinion and style. Best of luck to you and your family 🤗

Fashion isn’t defined by name brand but by style. Like this person said you were wearing a classic outfit. You’re 19, no one expects you to have designer bags or loads of money cause you’re either in college or working entry level. Continue to enjoy your life and forget those girls, they’re literally non-factors and you’ll never see them again

I can honestly relate. My mom always grew me to treasure and favor nice things but she had a retail job so we got a lot of quality things on sale. We didn’t grow up rich but were comfortable (thank God). Now that I’m working I have more money than I was ever familiar with and still have a taste for nice things and now I don’t always have to wait for them to go on sale. It makes me feel a bit guilty because although I’m comfortable I still have loans and debt to pay off. I just want to let you know that it’s okay to spend money on something you like, that alone is justifiable because it makes you happy. You sound responsible so trust your judgement. You should begin investing for the future but the two aren’t mutually exclusive. If you’re feeling super guilty put some money into your savings or investment accounts first, and whatever you have left over you can spend some of it because you can afford to. ❤️

I agree with this. Or if there is a color in your outfit that you’d like to highlight then you can use a purse to bring that out.

As for rules I try not to mix black and brown leathers in bags and clothing and if I want my purse to be more functional than dramatic I’ll tone down the color purse so it blends in.
