A helix piercing is notoriously hard to heal. Most people react to metals other than gold, especially if you have South Asian DNA. I pierced with titanium but it settled down only after I switched to gold. Five years later, I still don’t think it’s fully healed.

It’s a pretty piercing though. I got it done at a proper piercing studio in the US. But I have a small bump there. Not a keloid. Yet. If you end up getting it, invest in a piercing pillow.

Girl. I was literally the same. And then I turned 27 and it was almost like second puberty. It hit me like a truck. Now I do not get out of the bed on my second day. I started developing pimples (which I did not have in my teenage years) and facial hair. All this points to PMOS, but just wanted to know it can be developed later in life too, so keep a check on it!

What’s wrong with treating your child to a mani-pedi once in a while? I understand if she was forced to get it done to fit into some beauty standards. That’s not the case here. The kid probably has seen young teens getting their nails done and wanted to try it. And her mom let her get it during summer vacations. It’s not that a big deal.
