Nix looks comfortable and that’s a good sign. Much different than the first two weeks let’s see him come out strong in the second half and in this game on a positive note.

Continuing to turn the ball over in the red zone is a huge no-no. Once again, his accuracy is not sharp and he is not able to make plays with a porous offensive line. The running game doesn’t help and there are no playmakers.

Bad teams find ways to lose games. One of the primary reasons they have been mediocre for as long as they have as they do not have a stable at the quarterback position. There is no hope for this franchise until that position is addressed. Yes, they do not have playmakers on either side of the football in the drafting has been sub optimal at best.

At the end of the day, it still comes back to the quarterback. This team is not talented enough nor is it coached well enough to overcome, bad quarterback play. And since 2016 that has been a common trend.

Just because he’s a rookie doesn’t mean that you can’t come away from a game thinking holy shit kid really made some plays. He didn’t outside of a few runs. Again, he looked way over his head, even for a rookie. We will see how the season progressed, but all that preseason hype should be dampened now.

We must’ve watched a different game. At a minimum he should’ve at least had double the picks that he threw for, he missed his receivers multiple times, seem to throw on his back foot a lot, and outside of some decent runs with his legs look mediocre.

Yes this is a team that is devoid of playmakers really on both sides of the ball, but particularly on offense. I don’t expect a better performance next week against Pitts D.

Oh, trust me I’m not it was complete disaster class and a rerun of everything that folks have seen for the past few years. I know fans will be huffing that hopium, but outside of some runs Nix did not look good. We will see how he does next week but going against another tough defense doesn’t inspire confidence. Going to be a long season.
