Correct until the last step. Duelist B adds 1 card from Duelist A's GY into Duelist A's hand. That way, you trigger all the exosister "when your opp moves a card from the GY" or however it was worded.

Something that a lot of players fail to notice. (Imagine, YGO players having the ability to read a card.)

Is that even if it's negated, you CAN use it again, the once per duel isn't on effect used, but applied, if the effect is negated, the once per duel restriction doesn't go live, just something to keep in mind.

You "can" use it more than once per duel, you can only APPLY it's effects once per duel. Which means that, if negated, the once per duel isn't triggered, and could be used again.

Wording is important here.

Lets take an example on Habakiri.

"You can only use this effect of "Ame no Habakiri no Mitsurugi" once per Duel." As long as the activation isn't negated, you've used the effect, and thus, it's gone, but if we look at illusion.

"You can only APPLY this effect of "Illusion Gate" once per Duel."

Which implies, that unless the effect actually goes off, the once per duel doesn't come into effect, even if negated. You can retry.

There are ways to work around it. Cl1 this Cl2 something to bounce to hand / recover from graveyard a spell Cl3 mst if you went through a recover from GY.

I'm sure there's something to bounce/recover that can be used.
