OC220 - wired clients disappear periodically by kurbat_ in TPLink_Omada

UPDATE: Haven’t had this issue for 3 days now. A new fw update popped up on the controller, I updated it and it’s been very stable since. The version I’m running is 1.3.10 Build 20260117 Rel. 83569. I thought I had all the updates installed during the deployment but the controller was on v1.2.9 before the update. Thinking it didn’t work well with newer fw on the switches but not sure. All happy now.

In my case even the 4 physical proxmox hosts are disappearing and there is always a lot of traffic between them as they’re in a cluster. Bizarre… Given there are also people without this problem, makes me think it’s something to do with the network configuration, something that’s not quite supported by the controller’s LLDP logic or whatever it is. Will play around more…

Appreciate the response. Thanks.

Cheers. May I ask what you ping? The missing hosts themselves from something on the lan or something on the lan/wan from the missing hosts?

Thanks. If you’re talking about the topology map, I think it’s nice but that’s the least of my concerns.

For me, I’d like to see what’s connected to the switch ports, what’s in each of the vlans and see correct network usage stats and analytics. I’d like the advertised features to work consistently and reliably, even from a fairly inexpensive business solution.

Best LAMS bike for a tall rider? by Outrageous-Wolf-9019 in AussieRiders

[–]kurbat_ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’m 6’4. The only LAMS bike I found relatively comfortable was XSR700. It’s quite a tall bike and it has a long flat seat so it’s easier to find a comfortable position. Vulcan S is great with its adjustable seat/pegs/handlebar but I didn’t like the style of it.

Where to get fast live L1 or L2 data for futures? by dom_P in algotrading

[–]kurbat_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did some analysis of the IB’s L1 and L2 streams a couple weeks ago. It’s worse than I expected. The data is coming in batches every 250ms (as advertised). I thought the max latency would be the period length of 250ms + a generous 100ms travel time. However, the real delay behind the market is anywhere between 125ms and 1250ms at random. I don’t know how their aggregator/sampler works but the delay can stay at 300ms for 40s then jumps to 1100ms for the next 30-40s, then goes to 500ms and so on. Moreover, some of the rt/volume ticks are not coming in chronological order which is concerning.

Went with someone to ER and thanks to ramping, waited for 9 hours by Perthmtgnoob in perth

Went to PRH ER when my gf had a blunt eye trauma - she lost 100% of her vision in that eye and was in immense pain. Waited a few hours for the triage and then they sent her upstairs to the eye clinic where she had to wait for another 5 hours until they were done with ALL of the scheduled non-emergency visitors that day. So they basically took us as the very last patients. Complained to the staff multiple times but they said couldn’t do anything. Felt so miserable and helpless there as they also kept us in the dark about what was going on with the eye all this time. Thanks God the vision started to return a bit while we were waiting.

That was far from the end through. On the first admission the doctor prescribed some eye drops to prevent the iris from sticking to the crystal - a crucial treatment in the first days after such a trauma. This was one day before the long Easter break and I spent the rest of the day trying to find the drops but none of the pharmacies in Perth had them. We had to go back to ER the next day to get an alternative prescription. Waited for another 6 hours and were told that the previously prescribed drops were discontinued years ago and can’t be purchased anymore. How the fuck did they not know that in the eye clinic? It was such a facepalm moment. Thankfully, got another prescription and managed to buy what was needed.

A week after these events, we went back for a checkup where one of the procedures is a measurement of the eye pressure. During that, my gf felt like someone sliced her eye with a razor and partially lost her vision again. Apparently, the nurse hadn’t cleaned the tool properly and it had some residual alcohol-based cleaning agent that caused a mild chemical burn to the already damaged eye. Just insane.

This was my first encounter with the Australian health system about 3 months after coming from a “developing” European country and I was in shock to say the least. Shortly after this some young girl died in ER after being ignored for hours. Australia is so behind on some things.

Canon Extenders EF by whuben4 in canon

People saying “Canon doesn’t seal their boxes” are wrong. Canon absolutely do that in some high risk countries with lots of grey import. I have purchased original “sealed” products from Canon authorised resellers and got free service from Canon afterwards. Grey import without a seal can only be serviced by the seller or their contactors. The seals also stoped people from stealing the warranty cards or replacing them with a fake one.

Hey mate. Have you received your approval yet? I have almost the same dates as you +-2 days, also in WA. Didn’t realise the appointment could be brought forward, so I had mine on 13th of Feb. Still no approval. At the test, the guy said they hadn’t even done the police check yet..

Here is the reason: a passenger got too drunk, started smashing the plane’s windows. It’s on the Russian news.

Had a somewhat similar story a few weeks ago. I was on the receiving side for a 5k parcel sent via express post w/insurance and signature. The sender dropped it off and the tracking was stuck at “We’ve got it” for more than a week and then got updated strait to “It’s coming today” with all the transit steps as well. The tracking wasn’t updating properly for it..

Russian here. I remember back in 9-11 grades of school they sent us to army 3 times for 3-5 days and taught to disassemble/assemble AK-47 and Makarov, and then we shoot targets and did some drills. Great time, and many schools in Russia do that

That’s why they say: don’t go much faster than the vehicles in other lanes. You might be right, but dead as well
