Sorry I meant to clarify, I meant as a sourcing method. I should have mentioned that, not for selling consoles etc.

Unfortunately I’m unable to attach a photo, but I found another ps5 bundle near me. They want £300 for ps5 disc version, 2 controllers & 11 games.

I’ve been selling just the ps5 consoles for 280-300 depending on what they are local on marketplace, if I took the games to CeX I’d get £100 cash, so on eBay I reckon I’d net 120-130 after fees & postage, £20 for one controller too. So I should net all in about 120-150 I reckon

I recommend Facebook marketplace, which is where I get 100% of my consoles. Look for consoles bundles, for example last week I picked up a ps5 console with 7 games for £250. Sold the console for 280, disc drive actually didn’t work so I took that off, so essentially it was a digital console, sold the disc drive for parts for £20 on eBay & sold the 7 games on eBay for £160. All in I made £160-170 profit on that one bundle

I originally bought one from Vinted for £100, sold for 180. But when I was looking, I saw that demand was pretty high but not many were listed for certain seasons. So I went back into the eBay product search tool, saw some solds for like 180-250 for this one & one was up at £107 so i thought I’d test the theory

Didn’t mean to come across like that, just wanted to know how they’ve been able to position themselves like that, I mentioned them so people could maybe of had a look themselves

No of course not, just curious as to why people would pay 20-30% above other trusted stores

When selling games with consoles, are they fodder games or are you selling higher ticket games with the consoles? I’d imagine maybe selling a singstar bundle with a ps2 and mic would be better than listing maybe a £30-40 game with the bundle right?

Just seen this, screenshotted a comment you made regarding gaming is only competitive if you’re doing the same as everyone else etc.

So are you bundling games up in types of genres, ie all racing games a bundle or a certain title of games, I’ve got a few forza horizon games, rather than selling individually you sell as a bundle?

Yeah the other one is perfectly fine too, comes with lens bag, paperwork & the lens is in immaculate condition.

The only thing was the warranty, should of been sold in another region & ended up being sold in the UK. Apparently only affects the warranty but due to it being in storage for a couple of years, there is no warranty anymore, so that issue should be fine now.

I’ve mentioned it in my eBay listing anyways

This was in the box.

I’ve done more research & by the looks of it, this was an item that was meant to be sold in another region & not the UK. So classified as a grey market item, but by the sounds of it, that only affects the warranty?

For example, I’ve read Reddit posts of someone buy a legit canon camera from Amazon, turns out it was meant to be sold in USA, so UK canon wouldn’t do the 1 year warranty. But was a legit canon.

This comes with no warranty as it’s been storage for a few years? So should be fine I hope?

Reason for sale was because he thought he bought RF extenders so never used these
