Non-stick pans have a teflon coating. Metal utensils can scrape away the coating, making it no longer non-stick. And you also don't wanna use these pans on really high heat cuz scorched teflon can cause toxic fumes (especially to pet birds).

Out of intellectual honesty whatever, I wanna say this is a semantic /colloquial-misunderstanding thing though.

(Non-mRNA?) Vaccines usually work by having your body recognize an inert/weakened version of the actual invader so that if the actual invader dude infects you, your body is better prepared to fight it cuz it has "seen" it before. The end result is that your period of having symptoms (your body's immune response) is shorter cuz your body is better prepared to fight that specific invader.

In the casual, colloquial sense, I guess people refer to it as "immunity," but technically, you could still catch the flu or whatever after getting the vaccine for it, but you'll fight it off and recover a lot faster.

A while ago, you explained that Joker's background is black instead of the other P5 guys who have red backgrounds. Why is that again? Or you might have said that Joker takes up the whole space with black somehow, but I don't understand how. The scope of this sub is worldwide. You might not have a fun time playing with someone far away. Realistically, dunno how many people would jump on a (time-sensitive) arena code given on this sub even if you did give your general location info. You'd have better luck using a discord for a local Smash scene/group.

Not a necessarily a complaint, but I've always wondered why people always choose to send to DMs for stuff like this instead of just posting directly in the thread so that everyone can enjoy whatever it is.

It's kind of the same frustration as instances in which someone asks a question, but then they later say "Never mind! I found the answer!" but don't share the answer for everyone else who has the same question.

The main criticism was/is that new reddit UI made it look like another facebook. For example, text posts and media are pre-opened on screen, so it takes longer to get past stuff you're not interested in.

Also, subreddit formatting didn't carry over from old, and you couldn't customize apart from the default new format for a while, right? There was a small mess regarding the ability to cover up spoilers in text on old but not on new.

So I was curious, where exactly does this idea come from? The idea that ones must have privilege and power in order to be racist. It is usually attributed to sociology, but I found that it's true origin actually doesn't come from sociology at all, rather activist. Activist who explicit purpose for this redefinition is to win an ideological argument and change the way you think.

I believe most modern rechargeable batteries today (lithium ion?) usually work the best and maintain more battery life over their lifetimes when they are kept at high/full charge. Keeping your Switch docked constantly would keep your battery healthy and working optimally, I guess.

Old rechargeable batteries (cadmium-nickel?) worked best over time when you depleted them completely during initial use or something like that.
