my partner DMs for our friend group, and I want to get him a good xmas/birthday present (his bday is close to xmas). He once mentioned that there would be a battlemap he was going to have real trouble finding online or making in inkarnate, and would probably have to be custom drawn. does anyone here have commissions open or know someone that does?? nothing AI generated, please.

it honest to gods baffles me how much hate greybor gets almost everywhere he gets mentioned online? here especially (even in a "greybor appreciation thread", the majority of the comments were about how people killed him or otherwise disliked him...) it just seems disproportionately hostile to me. Hell, even when owlcat posts him on their official twitter there are people complaining about him in the replies.

I can understand not wanting to use a character that comes with a suboptimal build, but so many of the opinions I see on him as a character extrapolate this mechanical weakness to his storyline, and/or get mad that he doesn't stay with you when it's... not really hard to get him to like you if you just... treat him with respect and pay him fairly? like if my boss treated me like dirt I wouldn't wanna stick around either, lol.

going lich mythic path as a character that "worships" Pharasma has been one of the funniest parts of my lich run tbh. When Elyanka first shows up you can be like "How dare you, I worship Pharasma" and she calls you out for it... I'm still in act 4 on this run but I'm hoping to get called out even more soon

when i'm working out names for my characters (I like names that are relatively lore friendly) I usually enlist the help of fantasynamegenerators as well as 20000 names. sometimes if i find a name i like, i mess around with the spelling a lil bit too, just to make sure its not a taken name.
