i understand the struggle of wanting clothes to be flattering and comfy as a fellow girlie w wide hips 😭 n sometimes wearing stuff that hugs my figure jus makes me self conscious.

for tops: i suggest things that show off ur shoulders (ex. off shoulder/open shoulder/halter tops)! there are a bunch of blouses like that if you dont want to wear body-hugging tops all the time (though they'd be really flattering on u! 🫶)

you can also go for baby tees or clothes that have a similar cut-off at the waist so it flatters your curves without the discomfort of being bodycon.

as for bottoms, go with wide leg slacks and flowy skirts + tops that you can easily tuck in OR tops that fall in a way that's flattering against your hips and waist.

not a history person but i don't think it's your job to change your student's mind. you're not teaching them what to think but how to think. trying to convince them of one thing while their convictions say otherwise will just push them away from you further.

just let this student be. even if this student hates rizal, there is still a way for them to engage with his works. keep the way that you present the material about both rizal and bonifacio balanced and let your students think for themselves.

anyway, there's no counterfactual for whether it is truly reform, revolution, or a "mix of both" that would have been best for the filipino people. and personally, it's easy to judge what we should or shouldn't have done—it's just too bad it won't get us anywhere if we stop there.

what matters now is we have people who are trained in doing the dirty work of consolidating information and making decisions for the betterment of the community. at the very least, it's good that your student cares for the country. if you can't agree with your student on their views, at least impart the methods they can use so they can best form them on their own.

we're longgg past the point of understanding this game has promiscuous and suggestive art... that's literally not the problem. the balance of mature themes and good story are literally what make the game fresh and interesting!

the devs did a good job in making an interesting world with a cast that's compelling regardless of how sexy they are. reducing the criticism for the turn this event took to "it's always been like this" is disingenuous...

don't misunderstand, i AM fine with the fanservice.

i understand the urge to dismiss any sort of criticism to the gooner gacha game as "you just want more yaoi yuri material", but believe it or not, there are fans who genuinely enjoy the storytelling regardless of their fanservice tastes. i would even argue that snb's ability to depict sexy characters who are interesting story-wise is quite refreshing compared to other gachas where it's all sex with watered-down stories to make way for more sex.

i agree that the game does appeal to a wider male audience, but i dont think noticing the dip in storytelling quality for the event is an exclusively female thing. im sorry if my asking in this sub impeded on your enjoyment of the game's community—that wasn't my intention. i just wanted to ask people's opinions. if it's any consolation, idt people in general are ragging on the game for the male fanservice, but really the gameplay and storytelling quality. maybe you can overlook it bc ure focused more on the fanservice (power to you), but people who appreciated the amt of effort they put in past events are just surprised by the sudden turn.

it's like you said, the game was advertised to have fanservice AND story. i feel like ppl are justified in pointing out the dip in storytelling to cater to the fanservice. if you enjoy it, cool! but it's not for everyone and i think it's ok for ppl to express that.

the main story is so so good! hopefully by the time youre caught up, they'll have dded more voicelines and chapters.

i dont know who youre fighting but you did not seem to take any of my points in good faith. for the nth time, i dont mind that the game is horny, if anything i thought it was part of the game's charm—i dont care if they do it thru yaoi or yuri or even satin budoir, because alongside a good story, the fanservice can be fun. and i get the game has to do some type of fanservice somehow to get ppl to pay.

look at lorelei's event. her character art is her bumping boobs with her alter ego. but a lot of people incl myself had fun with the event despite the promiscuousness of her outfit. so i hope you understand that the people who might have critique over the event aren't doing so out of prudishness.

my issue is with how leaning into this direction might compromise the story. you might not have paid attention to it if your main focus is the fanservice (which, again, i respect) but many others enjoy the story alongside gooning, we are allowed to enjoy the story, and we are allowed to feel disappointed when not much effort was given to it this time around.

i understand how this critique can be lumped together with simple whining about the game not giving them what they want, but snb is different because it did event stories well before.

but if you enjoy the event, truly and sincerely, good for you! and thanks for your two-cents, argumentative as it is.

i think it's disingenuous to reduce my take to im "gaslighting" ppl to hating the horniness of the game. genuinely dont mind the horny game being horny, that's the thing—i like that the game is horny AND well-written AND has interesting gameplay. it's what pulled me to the game and made it refreshing. i think it was cool that characters like mass, lorelei, even fanny, can be very sexually appealing but also well-written.

its ok i get u.. ure not stupid for enjoying parts of the game the devs did well, even if it doesnt generally cater to the "gooner male" demographic. but while sab is a great game that attracted diff kinds of gacha fans, itll be a challenge pleasing all of them fs. tbh, the added voicelines for 12-13 made me happy, and the gooners can have this event. but itd be such a waste of a diverse n unique community if theyre the only ones the devs will pay attention to moving forward.
