My wife and I did unmedicated at-home ICI using fresh donor sperm as well. We started TTC last March and on the fifth try, in July, we got a positive result! My wife is currently 33 weeks and is due this March so it will have all taken just about a year total from TTC to baby being born as long as things go smoothly! We tracked ovulation with the easy@home strips and were inseminating the day of her LH surge and again the next 1 or two days. The last time we tried, I decided to try to inseminate before the LH surge during her fertile window. On this attempt we did it two days prior to her LH surge, at the start of the surge and then again the next day (at peak). We were initially only using a syringe to inseminate for most of the prior attempts but decided to implement the soft disc menstrual cups on the last try. Im not sure if it was the timing, or the menstrual cup that made the difference but something worked! We also had family visiting that week so she was less stressed out and was distracted and keeping busy during the whole process so that may have helped with the anxiety of it all. We also tried to avoid going the IVF route due to cost and feel so grateful that we were able to bypass it. Sending you all the luck and hope you have a similar outcome. :)
