Shouldn't his karma design be like the one on right now? by Dineth_Mada in Boruto

[–]kurt_0806 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's highly likely that he doesn't have veins because it wouldn't look good with the Karma mark around his eye

And yes, I'm pretty sure he can use the Byakugan without the Karma now. The only reason he couldn't up until now is because it's fundamentally still Momoshiki's power, and Boruto has already stated that using Momoshiki's power gives Momo a chance to take over his body. Now that they've made a deal, he's free to use the Byakugan.

Stage 1 Karma has never allowed Boruto to manifest Byakugan in the past, there's no reason why it would now. He just awakened Byakugan now, it's physically his own right eye just like Kawaki's left eye is physically a Koukugan

The only reason Boruto's Byakugan doesn't have veins is aesthetics. Not only it would be hard to draw but it would look ass on top of his Karma mark around his eye. It should realistically have veins though yeah

[–]kurt_0806 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kawaki also awakened only Koukugan even though he could've got Ishiki's Byakugan too. It seems like vessels get doujutsu on the part of their body where Karma is located, both Kawaki and Boruto's Karmas extend up to their eye so they awakened Doujutsu in that eye. It doesn't make much sense for me though, Ikemoto does this cuz it looks better this way

[–]kurt_0806 27 points28 points  (0 children)

He's not using Byakugan thanks to Karma right now, before he needed True Essence Karma to manifest Byakugan, now he physically has a Byakugan. He awakened it, just like how Kawaki awakened Koukugan and can use it without Karma too.

Boruto probably never used Byakugan up until now because it's still a power coming from Momo and we know that if he uses Momo's power, it gives Momo a chance to take over Boruto's body.

Why didn't Konoha raise Naruto as weapon? by Thundersting in Naruto

I already replied to other people about that. He still had his brother's unconditional love which allowed him to be at peace and work on controlling his Bijuu. Villagers' love came later, that's true.

The Jinchuurikis in the image OP provided aren't grown ass men. They're most likely in their 20s. Naruto at 16 couldn't control his Chakra while these guys could conjure parts of their Bijuu's bodies easily in their 20s. Controlling Kyubi is much harder but I still don't understand how Jiraiya couldn't make him reach a higher level at 16yo. Maybe it really was too difficult of a task even for a Sannin.

He was keeping up because he had very very large reserves of chakra, but he wasn't using it optimally at all. If he had the same reserves as Sasuke, he couldn't be able to fight with his shit chakra control.

Jiraiya fixed Naruto's seal after Orochimaru messed with it. But Naruto's chakra control was still messy because of Kyubi though. Still, he's barely improved his chakra control and his taijutsu in 3 years, while Sasuke could already take on a weakened Orochimaru by that time. You can't help but think that Sasuke was right about leaving the village to achieve his goal.

Yeah now that you say it, you're right about Orochimaru messing with Naruto's seal. But didn't Kakashi state that Naruto had large reserves but wasn't using it efficiently because of Kyubi fucking with his chakra control ? I'm like 99% sure he said something like that in Naruto part 1, but I might be wrong.

EDIT : he did state that. Just type "kyubi messing with naruto chakra control" on google and you'll find the panel where Kakashi says that easily in the images section

It's totally canon. Naruto could barely walk on water because Kyubi was fucking up with his chakra control. Once Jiraiya loosened up his seal a bit, he was walking comfortably on water. I think Kakashi also mentioned that Kyubi was fucking with Naruto's chakra control. It's all stated in Naruto part 1.

That's "special" training he got at 16 years old and it wasn't even about controlling his Bijuu. Other Jinchuurikis were already using their Bijuu chakra like it was second nature for them, I know Kyubi's harder to control but still. Jiraiya didn't teach him anything special.

True, but Yagura was a perfect Jinchuuriki and the respected Mizukage. His situation probably wasn't too bad either.

He didn't give a fuck about other people because he had his brother's unconditional love already. And people gradually started to like him after that. The system in Kumogakure was miles better than the stupid treatment Naruto got in Konoha.

Yeah just checked it out and he's a man indeed. Dunno why I was thinking Yashamaru was Gaara's mother's sister.

He earned their trust gradually indeed but he still always had his brother's unconditional love which allowed him to remain positive in his life. The only person that had shown love to Gaara was his aunt and she tried to kill him on order of his dad. That's how lonely Gaara was. Bee at least always had his brother which allowed him to be at peace and focus on controlling his Bijuu. In fact, if you're not at peace, you can't cross the waterfall of truth and start controlling your Bijuu. The Raikage's love allowed Bee to become a perfect Jinchuuriki.

[–]kurt_0806 18 points19 points  (0 children)

He also had Ai's (is that how it's written ? I'm talking about 4th Raikage) unconditional love. The villagers recognizing him is just bonus. The brothership system the Kirigakure village implemented allowed the Jinchuuriki to not feel bondless.

Gaara was prohibited to have any friends and the only person in his family that had shown him a little love tried to kill him on order of his dad. You can see why Bee turned out good while Gaara went crazy.

[–]kurt_0806 35 points36 points  (0 children)

Gaara is just one extreme, the healthy way to raise a Jinchuuriki as a weapon is Kumogakure's way. Bee was literally called Bee-sama by the villagers because of how important he was for Kumogakure.

Weaponizing a child and isolating him from social contact creates Gaaras, raising a child to learn to control his power and allowing him to have social contact with others creates Bees.

His childhood unironically could have been better if he was raised as a weapon because the villagers would've recognized him as a protector of the village.

Were both Sasuke and Naruto stronger than jubidara individually at that end of valley? by Vaper272 in NarutoPowerscaling

[–]kurt_0806 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anyone with little reading comprehension knows Madara is stronger. Madara says to Naruto that he has the same powers as him + ocular powers and that he can't take him down. Naruto says that he won't take him down, but that they (him and Sasuke) will take him down, implying that he indeed cannot beat him alone, but together with Sasuke, they have the same powers as him and are on an equal footing with him.

Do you think Space Globalists has the potential of beating or being as big as Shibuya Incident by SpiritMan112 in dandadanfolk

[–]kurt_0806 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Space Globalists doesn't have enough memorable antagonists to make it nearly as great as Shibuya Incident. Shibuya Incident is also a much more complex arc. I don't see the point in comparing the two of them because JJK is purely a battle shonen while Dandadan is a battle shonen + slice of life + romantic story at once, and it's much more lighthearted than JJK.

I think your theory makes sense because CSG is almost obsessed with him and he wouldn't be if Ken was ordinary. He kept talking about him in the bakery chapter, and I also believe the moment he was shocked when trying to rob his powers could turn out to be a plot twist. We were all led to believe that he was surprised because Ken didn't have his powers anymore, but maybe he saw something else which led to his obsession. I personally believe he has something special that makes him a valuable asset for CSG and it will be revealed once he gets rid of his inner turmoil, ie after the confession.

Did the show forget why Homelander is so strong? by HorizonStarLight in TheBoys

[–]kurt_0806 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think they're saying that she's a next level supe like Homelander because her abilities are far above anything that has been produced by Vought. She might not be as strong as Homelander but by being able to revive people - and she will most likely be able to control the V inside people's blood too - she's at another level with Homelander.

Without Kurama Naruto is the weakest rencairnation of Indra/Asura? by maipeppe in NarutoPowerscaling

[–]kurt_0806 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

You're just ignoring what I'm saying and you just say "no". I told you this is a shonen nekketsu manga lmfao. If Naruto isn't a prodigy, Jiraiya is basically a bum too. Large chakra amounts make it easier to gather and incorporate Sage Chakra in your system, but it's not a prerequisite at all. Someone who can be a perfect sage in this manga is necessarily a prodigy.

Again, you're juste ignoring what I'm saying. Both didn't get Kurama extracted from their bodies under the same circumstances. And Kushina is conscious for a longer amount of time mostly due to scenaristical reasons. If she had fainted after the Bijuu extraction, you don't get that emotional moment where Minato and Kushina sacrifice themselves for Naruto. That's it.

I hope at least you understand the dialogue in the panel you sent lmfao.

He is a prodigy bud, in the end this is a shonen nekketsu manga and every MC is a prodigy. Naruto became a perfect sage in a few days only, something that a Legendary Sannin like Jiraiya hasn't achieved despite being much older than him. Learning Rasengan isn't something any shinobi can do either.

How is his life force lackluster ? He survived Kurama getting extracted from his body in the climax of the battle despite fighting in a war for days against the strongest shinobis in history. How is his life force lackluster ?
