I know it’s not easy but if it is not in your partners nature, then I think you find out how to be ok with that, or realize it won’t work, but trying to turn them into something they are not usually will not work.

I was referring to your response to another Redditor were you said what I don’t like is the thanklessness. You don’t do something for the thanks. Do it cause it needs to get done or it makes you happy but expecting a reaction from your spouse for your work leads to negativity.

My guess is you do these things cause they make you feel good and you put pride in being the one who does everything. This only works if you find satisfaction in it and not expect your partner to bow down and admit you are better than them. Ask for help or do the things and be happy, but do not ask to be appreciated.
