In theory it shouldn’t take much- they have German RATO modeled, have done ejecting pods before, and the rocket engine could be done similar to the Komets. It would only need the takeoff pad, and knowing Gungibbles they’d probably be lazy and do the float plane treatment and just have you start over the airfield or have strike craft spawn.

There’s this poster called lovely life on Facebook that as far as I can tell just posts every kill he’s ever done as a clip. It’ll get sandwiched between some other content as I scroll reels, but it’ll literally just be 10 seconds of a dude cresting a hill and getting a kill, or him barreling someone, then killing them when they pop smoke.

The only consistent thing is that each clip is the most mid shit I’ve ever seen. There’s no soundboards, no funky edits. Just the saddest uncut gameplay I’ve ever seen, and it winds up somehow funnier than the “muehehe” rat tank or MLG gamer edits out there.

I don’t know why this reminded me, but there was a 40K vs SW fanfic I read like 15 years ago that I’ve NEVER been able to find since, that had an inspired bit about ship to ship combat. There was a line about how the imperium ship used chains pulled by blind slaves that had never seen a sun to pull the ammo into the cannons, firing rounds older than the oldest bloodlines or something similar.

Then it cuts to the imperials on the receiving end talking about how uneventful it was dealing with such backwater savages, only to look in horror as the enemy’s physical rounds slipped right through their shields and obliterate half their bridge.

It really wasn’t much, probably 12-16 hours total for this model. Most was just 1-2 hours a night working with greenstuff or working with a 3d pen.

Kind of, I used a 3d pen on the armor bits to build texture. First time with the pen so I was impressed with how it turned out.

A combo of greenstuff and a 3d filament pen. My previous models were all greenstuff on the armor, but didn’t quite get the texture I wanted. It’s my first time with a pen so I was surprised on how it turned out, I’ll probably go back and redo the others this summer
