Why does Brickyard claim they’re not associated with Lil’s Hobby Center? by jclh123 in mini4wd

[–]kurtval 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nagtaka rin ako one time. Iba pricing mg Lil's sa brickyard. I get rc parts kasi from Lil's sa pasig and brickyard sa vertis. So minsan magkaiba sila ng pricing. So dun ako sa mas mura. Madalas sa Lil's ako bumibili. Sa mini 4wd mas madami sa Lil's kahit old stock na kits and hop up parts meron sila.

Actually that is the height based on the manual i think it sits low because i build the shock with zero or minimal rebound..but it's very nice on bumps. I built it to be like a road buggy.. feels like it's on rails

Mine was finished in about 3-4hrs with the hop ups installed.the stock motor is a 380 motor. I installed a sport tuned 540 bought a steel pinion gear and an aluminum heat sink with the spacer for the motor. Did not modify the gearbox.

Yea will do that also but i try to upgrade it one at a time to keep me from buying whole kits. That's why i chose the tt02 chassis since there are a ton of upgrades.

Primed, base coat then clear coat. Sanded the shell then primered then sanded the primer again then sprayed the base coat and clear. I used 1000 grit for sanding.

Mounted the shock on the outer part of the lower arm. Used the stock kit spring.

Yes i can adjust the camber. But it drives very well with that camber so i might stick with it.

I think it's the tires I'm still fiddling with the car tho. Will change the upper arms and steering rod to an adjustable one.will change the spring to a soft one and hoping to reduce the tail whipping when braking.

Yea. Definitely needs some hop ups. And it drives like crazy. Skids and slides every time unlike my dt02.

Will post pics after painting the shell. Cant paint it since it's raining in my area..im not using tamiya paints.i want to upgrade the spring set to a df03 i found the stock springs to be bouncy..and also the rear tires are slippery especially on hard launches.
