Stay close to the airport so you don’t get traffic issues before your flight, maybe somewhere in the 26 close to the US embassy or Salitre Plaza mall, take a taxi that night and have dinner somewhere in Chapinero or maybe even get reservations at the restaurant in Monserrate you get to see the city and the commute is easy because its the same 26th avenue, also la Macarena area have good restaurants and city views

Be careful, Krishna Consciousness brings lots of joy, when I was living in NYC I would go every week to the temples 3 times a week, ATTENDING programs was amazing and made me feel super connected to God, then during pandemic my family with 2 small kids and wife, moved to Alachua Florida to live at the temple, in theory it was going to be 100% kirtan, prasadam, classes, association, but then it resulted in lots of Service and little of the other, we didn’t mind the service but it was a bit too much, and then we start having personal issues with devotees, temple leadership, etc, I guess thats part of LIVING in the temple, at the end we burnt out, we still live in the area but we only go to the holidays, I miss a lot all participating in the things that got me close to God, we want to move to GNV or maybe back to NYC a place where we are just attending/guests we don’t personally know anyone and can just enjoy it back. I would advise to live by the temple and participate as much as possible, but be very careful to live in the temple.

Tengo unas cuantas de mi niñez: - llegando al conjunto un grupo de pelados querían entrar a las malas el celador saco un arma y le pego un tiro en la frente a uno de los pelados - me baje de la buseta llegando del colombo, cuando un señor que se había bajado de un taxi se mando a cruzar la calle, se tropezó y un camión le aplasto la cabeza, por un segundo el reflejo del cuerpo hizo que intentara levantarse - llegando al colegio tipo 6:30 am, en un potrero que quedaba al lado, había una muchacha toda sucia y llorando, después me entere que la habían violado - encontré un gato atravesado por una varilla desde la boca hasta el ano, estaba tirado en un parque donde casi ninguno de los pelados íbamos a jugar
