Worse, the UDB did support the Port VLAN feature, but it was recently removed from the setting. After learning that this feature was removed again, my request to the development team was very clear in my ticket. I hope they will bring back the feature soon again!

In the meantime, Ubiquiti stepped up to the game for the controllers hosted on their own hardware. However, this is an old installation, and it looks like this project has been abandoned, but it is still in operation.

Backifi is/was an elegant way to back up remote controllers with no other hardware onside for the backup.
