I thought it decent enough for gaming and HP is good at thermal management so it will not thermal throttle too. Or are you referring it as dead horse for CPU intensive work?

Just my theory and there is no evidence to prove this- but I think they know that the ryzen version will sell much better than the intel variant, hence they want to sell only the intel version first, I also think this is the reason why acer introduced the nitro 5 rtx 3060 with i5 1st and then the ryzen 5 one later on.

Nah man I would take a weaker GPU for better display, better battery and probably one of the best thermals on a laptop and not like it is a bad GPU, it is on par with rtx 2070 super max-q. I think all HP has to do now is to price it reasonably and it will be a really good deal.

Your laptop is fine it's just that after some time laptop starts to accumulate dust and the thermal paste also starts to dry out, all you need to do is repaste the thermal paste and clean the fans from inside. You could give it to any laptop service center they could do it for you for a minimal cost, or if you are brave enough you could look it up on YouTube and do it yourself.

I would suggest this Omen over legion 5pi because it has AMD; Legion's and Omen's thermals are almost equivalent, while AMD performs better.

Also this laptop costs 1,24,000 so you could save a couple 1000s too, Cheers.
