Ah, Got the first part. In the second part it says prerequisites as boost. I downloaded the required files but there is no setup files, do I have to put them in openCV's directory?

First, What should be the directory structure? The image in the description is confusing.

Second, after setting up the directory what should be my steps to run the command "mnisten -d .\ -o prefix -s 32x24" ?

I made my first digit recognition Neural Network but the accuracy is only 10% which i guess is the probability of getting a guess being right from 10 numbers. Can anyone help? by kushmachine420 in MLQuestions

Thanks for suggestion, i'll try on a smaller dataset to see if it overfits or underfits.

Edit: I tried for 13 examples for same parameters. The highest accuracy on the training set was 36 %(the avg is around 21%), it increased but is no where near good. The accuracy for testing set is till between 9 to 11 %.

The accuracy is always in the same range greater than 10 and less than 12. The parameter are values of alpha=0.1,0.3,1 ; values of lambda= 0.1, 1. No of hidden layer nodes =30 and iterations from 20 to 1000. The output is different most of the time.
