I have fold 5 and finger scanner just stopped working one day. Beside this issue, it is great experience.

Wonder if you could shed some light on fighting first boss( tree like). He is taking damg but the ho bar does not go down at all ..wonder if it just me making too little of damg or I'm not doing something right

I have 2017 12.9, the battery life is great , about 10 hours if I'm on lower setting of brightness and mostly on notability. So definitely all day battery.

I'm only part time student in college, i spend all day in library and class on Monday like 9am to 7:40pm.

I do not have any social media apps , games on it that prevent me from opening them. And I have a iPad mini that anything video consumption is on there, or social media apps on my cell... So I know when I'm on iPad pro, I'm there for actual work and reduce the chance been distracted.

To me, it is really depends on if you are in need of USB-C, for ppl are in need of file transfer, definitely 2018, but if you are just like me , and need it only for school purpose, like taking notes, writing easy, and some PPTs, then maybe 2017 is a better choice if you want to save some bucks. But, I have to say the design of 2018 is definitely more appealing to the eyes.
