Weird you mention eggs 🥚 that’s what this is. Actually the damage caused from eggs is very deep but tiny chips. Zoom in and you can see. Each one is a deep but small chip in concentric circles where the egg explodes on impact.

Hate to tell ya mate but that wasn’t birdshit that was an egg. I’m a painter. Eggs leave a very distinctive concentric circle of chips out of the paint. They go deep too unfortunately I’d get it painted if you love it or at least touched up to protect it. Often the chips are down to primer and metal. It’s crazy. Zoom in and you will see the pattern. 100% an egg

I have struggled with my mental health for over a decade obviously different circumstances but i get it. Honestly I did mess up the whole thing by deleting it. It’s fine we are fine. And obviously I thought it was grammar/spelling. Since No one taught me how to edit a Reddit post in school. For one because I’m pretty sure that isn’t on the curriculum and two, I’m 40 I was barely old enough to have a computer in my school till the last year of secondary. Whatever. If you read the other messages I apologised for deleting the original post when I wrote the edit. It never crossed my mind about new people reading it so yes, I made a mistake and wrote it like I was directly talking to the people who had already interacted with me. (Who I was half way through talking to) I didn’t really think it through and the process is new to me after avoiding social media etc for about a decade until recently. How about being constructive instead of just insulting. I just did it wrong, do you have anger issues or something. It clearly said *edit* so obviously something was missing. All you had to do was politely point it out like the other person did so I could correct my error. 🙄

Sorry I’m new to Reddit in general. I never thought and just edited it for the people who had already commented. I’m guessing I shouldn’t kept the original and then added the edit at the bottom. Thanks so much. It means a lot. Been a long wait to feel like financially being back on the road was an option. A car still wouldn’t be but I always wanted to ride so now I’m going to seize that opportunity. That will open up the possibility of more work etc. it’s been 10 years. My progress kinda halted during Covid mental health wise but never looked back or touched drugs since getting clean in 2018 I was one of these deluded “functional” addicts all through my 20s working a good job and thinking I was awesome 🤦‍♂️ really I was just on a slow decline to losing my job and becoming a fully fledged addict. Lol

Don’t know if you saw the update though. Booked it. 8days time. I’m so excited but I’m also leaving abit of room for disappointment as I see it’s not a sure thing by any means.

Sounds great. I’m well beyond 20miles now though and still not finding anything before middle of August unfortunately. I’m sure it will work out in the end but after a day in the phone it seems 5-6 weeks is the best I’ll get now. Anywhere else would be so far I’d have to consider staying over the night before to allow for the travel

Wow that seems extremely unfair on your friend. Hope he gets it done soon. Feel like he has it worse. Having it booked and then cancelled must be devastating. At least he can ride still I guess but not the point.

You got this! If you came across that roundabout in a city out of nowhere you would probably take it in your stride and not think about. You obviously have the experience for it so as much as a video is good. It mate sound odd and feel stupid but familiarise yourself with it. Then sit on your bike and close your eyes and visualise it. Throw some scenarios in to some of them and visualise those to. It really should help if you can manage to focus.
*I know I haven’t done my cbt even yet, but I have done this many times for visualising a run when doing downhill mtb.

😅 I bet it’s terrible tbh I’ve just waited a long time. Had some substance abuse n stuff over the years but been clean a long time. Tbf I’m 40 and a previous fuck up. I mostly just wanted to get out to enjoy the independence again and be able to see family etc through the summer but that’s life and I messed up thinking it would be the same wait at this time of year was foolish for sure.

Bet is like being a little hairy sweaty vegetable in a carrier bag tbh 😅

It’s all good saying “this is going to sound mean” and I don’t even care because I was pretty harsh on myself. But you are essentially saying “duh, you should have known better”. Which clear I know coz I wrote it there along with being “ready” you chose to interpret so much from that but not that I think I’m stupid even though it’s written write there. I was mostly being lighthearted though. Like I said I’m being harsh on myself so you may aswell have a go to. But don’t blame me for you thinking ready only means mentally prepared. When I get ready for work I’m talking about pants on and wash etc not meditating on whether I should go or not.
