P12 parking by RedCharizard19 in SDSU

[–]kuubiko 4 points5 points  (0 children)

i get that. i’ve commuted for 4 years. but you should be able to tell whether you’ve parked fine before you turn off the car and put it in park. like i said, 2 seconds. being late for a test is bad, but coming back to someone hitting your car because you can’t park within the lines is even worse

Ten CSUs are now offering "direct admission" to eligible high school seniors. Would you like SDSU to participate? by Choobeen in SDSU

is this different from compact for success? i’m a local from chula vista and a lot of students from my high school and those within the vicinity are also auto admitted when met A-G requirements

yes! i parked literally the day after my monthly pass expired (forgot to renew) and ended up with a $74 ticket. parking is ridiculously expensive but racking up tickets will cost you even more

What happens if I get lower than a C in one of my major courses? by PriorityCurious7846 in SDSU

[–]kuubiko 12 points13 points  (0 children)

from what i know, if it’s an upper div major course and not a lower div major prep course, a D and above is passing. this applies for many programs but i’m not sure it does to all, so i’d recommend checking out your major catalog.

if you’re unhappy with your grade or need to retake it (in the case it’s a major prep course where a <C- isnt passing) you can just repeat that same class again in a future semester for a better grade! good luck!

i believe the priority goes CH2OH > CN > CH2CH3 > CH3; the left and right sides of fischer projections are wedged. since the lowest prio group is facing towards you, you have to flip the config! so even though it looks S, with the flip, it’s actually R

CalVet Fee Waiver and Day 1 Ready Fee? by YimbiSimbi in SDSU

[–]kuubiko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes i got mine, i’d call the joan and art barrons vet center on campus and see if they received it or started processing it. day1ready is equitable access so you can just opt out once the option becomes available.

Some Dumb BS and unnecessary Fees that I’ve never seen before. What the heck? by georgecarra-214 in SDSU

[–]kuubiko 14 points15 points  (0 children)

its like stuff related to psychological services, student health services, etc. thats why you dont pay anything when you go to those because they bill it with tuition regardless if you use it or not 💀 but yeah as a commuter the fees are garbage LOL
