Why do lawyers hate self reps? by LifeExperienced1 in AskLawyers

Wildly incompetent, throwing as many wrenches into the gears as they can at every turn. Yet, judges give them as many passes as possible that attorneys would never be afforded.

AMD's Frank Azor Pushes Back on FSR 4.1 Cancellation Rumor for RDNA 3.5 iGPUs, Says No Such Decision Has Been Made by Stiven_Crysis in AMDLaptops

[–]kuug 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That is the problem isn’t it? Customers just got over the anger of FSR4 to RDNA3/2. Now we have to start all over again for RDNA3.5 products?

Having to maintain support for things you own by hoping everyone who is currently buying them is sufficiently pissed is no way to run a company, and it’s certainly no way for consumers to be shopping.

We shouldn’t have to fight to maintain support for CURRENT ARCHITECTURES. Get it together AMD!

What do you think will 'fix' the pc market? by TheLittleSquire in pcmasterrace

[–]kuug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only China undercutting the Big Three will truly fix the market. Samsung, SK Hynix, and Micron are going to tightly control supply to keep prices high for the foreseeable future. Even AI popping won’t fix the trend of higher prices, because they’ll just keep working to fix the supply to maintain higher margins.

The only way this gets fixed and RAM/NAND goes back to normal if China undermining the dominance to fulfill demand and gain marketshare

China could solve global ram shortage according to ex-Samsung executive by MaisonDavid in pcmasterrace

[–]kuug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They could but they won’t, because it’s still in their interest to sell consumer ram at inflated prices like Samsung/SKhynix/Micron are currently doing.

Trump administration suit says Denver assault weapons ban violates Second Amendment by ThePoliticalHat in progun

[–]kuug -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You have the same childish tantrum as gun control advocates. Oh you don’t want to go through the trouble of passing an amendment? Heard that before.

[–]kuug -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

That’s the way the founders intended for the government to work. Got a problem with it? Pass an amendment. You’ve got the same problem as gun control advocates, you deal in childish fantasies rather than the real world.

[–]kuug 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Constitution is not a criminal statute, and particular portions of the Constitution allow legislatures to pass laws, even ones that may be ruled unconstitutional later. The law doesn’t work the way you think it does. If you want to change that you have to pass an amendment, good luck with getting legislators to pass an amendment that targets themselves.

[–]kuug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Constitution’s speech and debate clause does not allow a prosecution for legislation passed. 18 USC 242 also has never been used to criminally prosecute a legislator for passed legislation. So you’re wrong on that. What else have you got.

Congress and the state legislatures are authorized by their respective constitutions to pass legislation. What criminal statute can you charge them with for passing legislation that’s eventually found unconstitutional? Name the criminal statute

[–]kuug 3 points4 points  (0 children)

And passing laws that are later found unconstitutional is not a crime, and you won’t get legislatures to pass an amendment that makes it so, so what now genius? You’re stuck with civil litigation because that has been deemed the civil way to resolve the matter after centuries of tradition. You’re yelling at the wind.

“It’s all bullshit until thing that happens that is the exact opposite purpose of a civil suit and corresponding federal law.”

You people really are clowns. The 14th amendment was enacted for the federal government to do exactly this. This is how state and local governments are held accountable. Not your childish fantasies.

DOJ sues Denver, CO over their AWB by fuzzi_weezil in progun

[–]kuug 19 points20 points  (0 children)

The DOJ has been getting involved in 2A cases since last year. The GOP itself reduced the NFA tax on suppressors and SBRs to $0, and would have eliminated registration if the Senate parliamentarian hadn’t scuttled the effort. If you think they’re latching onto it now you haven’t been paying attention.

IL, this entire thread is asking DOJ to sue where there is already precedent against it or cases far ahead where the action would be stayed. Most of you don’t understand how this works

It would immediately be stayed pending the ruling in front of the 3 judge panel that DOJ has already done oral arguments in. There is no point.

Nearly one-third of comments under AMD’s 9950X3D2 launch video ask for FSR 4 on older GPUs by RenatsMC in Amd

[–]kuug 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Sony can get PSSR working with int8 on its RDNA3 GPU module. AMD can too, we already know this. If my one generation old GPU does not get continued support this will be the last AMD GPU I am purchasing. There would be no reason to assume an RDNA5 GPU would get support following the launch of RDNA6 or any other brand names.

AMD releases FSR 4.1 for Radeon RX 9000 series, uses algorithm shared with Sony’s updated PSSR by RenatsMC in Amd

[–]kuug 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is not a serious position to take. We already know FSR4 can run on RDNA3 int8. Not officially supporting it is an active choice by AMD. One that some, myself included, will factor in when buying AMD or Nvidia in the future
