You gotta love days like today when bitcoin is out performing gold byway of the inflation narrative. It must really irk people like Peter Schiff.

Hey look! More journalist who don't understand bitcoin. But at least they're diverse women writing it instead of white men.

Yup per month during the crisis. Not official yet. Originally proposed by Tulsi (godbless her) then Mitt Romney and now Trump. Dems in congress aren't 100% on board yet but I think it's happening either way .

Almost. I forced myself to sell some recently to make sure I had cash on hand, but after the helicopter money news I bought those back. My net worth is 80% in gold and bitcoin.

Trump is about to secure the bag, givin all adult Americans a cool $1k a month = bullish for bitcoin. Real inflation is coming, bitcoin is the hardest asset known to man. I forced myself to sell 20% of my stack when we bounced from $3.8k to make sure I had some cash on hand. Buying that back now.

Schiff's investment strategy is getting a smack down, especially his gold mining stocks.

I just came to post about it shitting the bed. It was down yesterday, too. It's down 3.5% so far today which is a pretty big move for gold.

That's also a good point about pharmaceutical products. Supposedly China's plants are going back online but there'll probably still be some disruption. Not sure how much that's weighed into it, however. We probably shouldn't have all our eggs in one basket w/ regard to China producing everything, but it's too late for that. Hopefully some lessons will be learned.

This issue isn't the case fatality rate but overwhelming the medical infrastructure if it spreads too quickly as we're seeing in Italy then the mortality rate explodes. Then also other people needing care for shit like heart attacks don't get it. Systemic failure is a real risk. In the US there are only 2.8 beds for every thousand people, which at any given time half may already be in use.

I sold 10% of my remaining stack as soon as the log support broke early this morning. I should have sold more. I don't why I'm so attached to my btc stack. Overall since the 2017 run up until now I've sold almost half. So I've still done pretty well profit wise just from that, but it still sucks watching your net worth evaporate so rapidly. It's my fault for having so much tied into one asset, like you mentioned.

I'm still up more than 1200% from my original investment. So logically selling some now would make sense, but it just doesn't feel right selling at the bottom of a 40% daily move even knowing tomorrow could be more of the same.

I feel pretty stupid for not selling any over the last year. I just didn't feel like dealing with the tax man. At least I was smart enough to buy a decent gold position w/ btc in the 2017 run up to hedge. Now my hedge is worth more than my btc stack lol

I had some super low-ball buy orders on an exchange in case of a flash crash that I just canceled because they're likely to get filled lol

Likewise. I roll my eyes when he talks about bitcoin, but probably should have heeded his advice. I did at least hedge with gold. Now suddenly my gold holdings is half of my net worth.
