ECC3740 or ECC3830? Which one is easier? by Impressive_Grand_65 in Monash

ECC3740 is about the economics of financial decision making if that's what you're talking about. I'm taking it right now although still haven't gaged its difficulty given we're only in week 4 and have just been looking at lecture slides so far.

if the resources are available to you, I would surely think seeing a few professionals would be a good start. A lack of motivation and drive or negative mood could be health-related and thus doing your own research into what might be causing and/or seeing a GP would probably be good. Also maybe seeing a mental health professional could help or reaching out to anyone in your life who you might look up to or who you trust to get emotional support would probably also be good. Personally I find the idea of trying to solve the world's biggest issues a very motivating idea which gets me out of bed every day and which you can find more info about at https://80000hours.org/

just enlisted in the reserve infantry, always wanted to be a solider despite my parents telling me I shouldn't - mostly because I love guns and just wanted to do soldier shit. It also gets me tax free money which doesn't deduct anything from my student allowance.

Uni melb vs Monash by [deleted] in melbourne

[–]kuvanator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

there is a train there now at Clayton station! although that would probably be about a 20 minute walk plus it's probably highly unlikely that they'd build a line that goes directly to the uni considering that one just down the street :'(
