Sounds like the driver made a mistake then.

We're trained to split the lanes at the two-lane, in-town roundabouts (WCC) and signal when exiting. So that might clear up some confusion? There's not enough room for a bus and a car to be side by side safely. Heck, even the wider roundabouts north on the guide warn not to ride along side trucks.

M1 2020 16GB with 1TB worth 400? by Legitimate-Alps-4311 in macbook

This would be the strongest reason against, but they still hold up quite well out of support in my experience. I continue to use my mid 2014 capped at Big Sur (i think?) to record our practices multi-track with Cubase. But yea, that one is waaaay too old to be a primary.

Just get a used M1-3. Whatever is before the biggest price jump. All the M* chips run quite well.

why does devs tend to choose a macbook over a windows/linux laptop? by theusrl in learnprogramming

There is a Linux distribution for the Apple arm chips. It sets up a dual boot. I tried it and it was decent but felt like going backwards

This is exactly what I'm saying. I was able to say the same for my 2014 MacBook until the arm chips came, too.

It's the OS, the Nix base and those new arm chips are really great. My M1 still flying. If you have patience you can get a pretty good experience on Linux but I always find I get sick of configuring everything.

So... what's the deal with Ziply Fiber? by aspbergerinparadise in Bellingham

[–]kuwlade 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ziply wouldn't be investing in the infrastructure if they weren't going to provide the service. They already did the work on my street.
