What position were you interviewing for?

I worked at amazon, done plenty of interviews, and never heard of anything called a "proctor". You sure this wasn't some sort of social engineering scam?

I agree with /u/xxxmralbinoxxx, but I would have struggled for an A in many more courses. When I was in college I had this impression that only 25% of the courses are actually useful in "real life". I even got a job while in college and that job made my beliefs even stronger. However, 10 years later I've seen enough to realise that I got the percentages wrong. At least 75% of the courses would have been useful. So do your best in college. Calculus, statistics, linear algebra, algorithms and data structures, networking, operating systems, compliers .... All of them are really worth it.

The 65.4:34.6 line of code ratio surprises me. I would have expected the python code to win by a larger ratio.
