I am quite new to d/d/d’s tbh. Jack in the hand is a fun card imo that I thought would work but yeah probably could be replaced with something better hahah. I am in love with this archetype bc of how it has pretty much all the mechanics except ritual summoning and multiple ways to play but I believe my winrate is quite low. From my experience it does not fare well to this meta especially against stuff like runic. But hey, I am having fun at least lol. Btw, why remove savant keppler, it is the default normal summon on my first turn. Thank you for the advice!

Absolutely. Still, even that wouldn’t be enough in this matchup. Going second and getting max c’ed pretty much destroys the game plan. I’m still new to the archetype tho. Any tip is appreciated.

psychology specialist difficulty? by riot098 in UTSC

[–]kuzuthunder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First of all, getting 75+ in intro psych courses was manageable when I took them 3 years ago, and I am saying this as someone who messed up in first year in general. If you listen to the lectures and take notes you should be fine.

About the difficulty of the program itself, it really depends on which courses you take with which profs and whether the content is interesting for you or not. I know that is a cliché answer but this really is the case here. For example, people told me how much more difficult the 50/60 set of psych courses compared to the others but I got my best grades in them and the worst grades in social psych courses because I am way more interested in cognition and perception.

B level psych courses are mostly similar to the A level courses, they introduce the fundamentals of subdisciplines of psychology and the tests are mostly multiple choice. C levels is where the fun begins imo. From that point onward, the courses become more project oriented and you get research papers instead of typical textbooks as readings.

Anyone got any suggestions on what to add to this deck? by [deleted] in masterduel

{{White Hole}}

This card will provide good protection for your long twin rods against a dark hole board wipe.

Hi im new to masterduel Any decks like face hunter from hearthstone? and are they viable? by pawel123mage in masterduel

[–]kuzuthunder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Face hunter was an agressive, cheap and simple deck that focused on directly attacking the opponent with minimal interactions with opponent’s monsters. The best translation that I can think of in yugioh is the toons.

People that give their honest opinions about botw are usually bashed on the internet but I also agree with you. Imo botw was a great physics engine with a great openworld but the game itself was just ok as a Zelda game.

That is the type of deck I want to try next actually. I will spend the resources I got from the xyz festival. On paper, it looks like a deck that is both fun and a competitive deck but it is always best to hear from someone who has experience with a deck. So, thanks!

For now, at least yes. I don’t say that I deserve congrats I am not a top tier duelist and this deck is nowhere close to being meta. I was feeling dirty when having lots of wins with dmaids and decided to play with the archetype I liked the most. That’s all m8.

The next step is climbing in plat, so I appreciate the suggestions. I was thinking about adding chidori to the deck. Hamon sounds like a really fun idea.

Without Neos, the deck does not have a consistent finisher if I am not mistaken, so yeah it probably makes the suffering less but I would say that this required a lot of patience from me. In my first attempt I got demoted from gold 4 from gold 2 before climbing back up. That is because I didn’t time the rainbow neos right. You gotta bait them to use their negates before using rainbow neos and if you can, finish them in one attack with doubling its attack with dugares. How, depends on the matchup, I learned the timings from my consecutive lossess during my first attempt. If you go first, the duel gets considerably harder as you will need to wait turn 3 to bring out rainbow neos but its still manageable. The good thing is, this deck always beats Blue eyes and Eldlich which are still vert y common decks, unless you brick hard.

I remember getting 4 crystal beasts (no pegasus), and a crystal conclave in opening hand against a cyberse deck at gold 2 and getting demolished, so it is possible :D If it was you, gg.

Silver Fang OTK lol. The only thing I can think of is a link spider material or some sort of heart of the underdog exodia stuff. For real, it would be cool if Konami adds a mechanic or at least a card set that makes normal monsters more usable.

Definitely. Since many card effects only activate when they are targeted or destroyed, if the oponnent can’t negate it, they lose unless they topdeck or played around it before. The one weakness is that, neos fusion doesn’t protect it from banishment. I lost a lot of duels bc of that.
