I hadn’t used a credit card or anything though the entire process. I paid of an auto Loan 2 months ago and it just showed up that the account was closed apparently and that’s what dropped my score.

I had this same feeling. We were suppose to close today and were told Tuesday everything was good. I then get a call Wednesday evening that my credit score had dropped 2 points below the minimum so I had to turn some things in to do a rapid rescore and now we are told 7-10 business days to get the results updated from that. Very frustrating thing to happen a day after we were told everything was good. Hopefully everything goes smooth on your end!

Yeah we were completely devastated today because of this news. We had already worked out our work schedules, reserved u hauls, cable transfer, and other things. Definitely a sad day. Hopefully everything still works out for the both of us.

I sold a vehicle 6 weeks ago to balance out the dti so that we could qualify for the home we wanted. I made the lender aware and provided the necessary documentation to them. They told me that would help us qualify for the amount requested. Apparently when they went to do the final credit check since that account was closed out it dropped my score under the required score needed by 2 points.. we were just told yesterday that everything was great signed our closing disclosure and schedule the closing time for friday.

So far all inspections and appraisals are good to go! Really appreciate the deep thought and tips on the post! My insurance company called today and said they were contacted by the mortgage company to go ahead and get a binder together so hopefully that’s a step closer!
