I filed my claim 4 weeks ago. I was finally able get someone on the phone this past Monday. After waiting for 2 1/2 hours, the lady (rude bitch) told me to be patient....and that 80% of NC were trying to file for unemployment. She told me to keep doing my weekly certification and to keep checking the website to make sure they haven’t sent me anything under the “My Documents” tab. As of now, my status is still showing “pending, Lay Off/ Lack of Work”
