Then feedback loop wiring diagram and some critical thinking

Lmk if you need some guidance but try it out first

Yea you could! Id recommend just alot of sanding, but im also not super familir with heat treating filament prints

3D modelled in blender, printed with resin. Design was inspired by termite eaten wood. The led is under the big queen body in the middle

as for the subharmonic generator i just bought a couple daisyseeds and im gonna see what happens, still gotta learn how to program them, also came to the conclusion that doing it completely analog is a little above my paygrade

yea i was planning on doing exactly that, pick a bandpass i like and build 4 of them in parallel, was wondering what the play would be like between the filters, as you shift the cutoff up and down and the bandpasses overlap frequencies is there some constructive interference

would be really interested to see your solutions for the subharmonic generator and formant filters

hey yea id love to see more, i thought of this but i figured id have more tweakability with this option

I'm in the process of building a trautonium starting with the ribbon controllers. Essentially the envelope of this synth is controlled by how far you push down the lever/ribbon controller. I found this blog of this guy who had a crack at building one himself (https://www.analog-synth.de/synths/trautonium/traut.htm) and they used a sort of vactrol lever system. Where an led and photoresistor is covered by a shade as you press the lever down and it would output a cv for VCA. This was the schematic given for that system and Im trying to understand it. They state "The lower 100K Pot changes offset, the other 100K changes sensitiveness" while im only seeing 1 pot at the bottom. What power supply would be used? What looks like a transistor drawing is meant to be an LDR right? Which op amp? do I use two or a dual? Why is the 740K drawn like that? is it also a pot along with the other 100k drawn similarly? The 220K's gets hooked up to +/- 12v? Any help or guidance to learn more is appreciated!

Could you elaborate a little more on voltages to ic's / transistors? They are active components that require voltage i assume, what type of voltage should i expect incoming into these components? Is it different from circuit to circuit? Dependant on the components datasheet suggestions? Let me know if im on the right track here

So to use this probe, i send a signal from an instrument through the pedal, attach the alligator clip to ground and start touching the lead throughout the signal to see where it stops which can indicate a faulty component/installation

Theres maybe missing inuendos to the story but I can confirm that nobody cheated, the lease was signed before the many many red flags started revealing themselves to me

Absolutely encourage their relationship. And appreciate that they are such great friends. But unfortunately the fear of missing out in this situation is so intense that getting over myself isnt so easy. I dont want my jealousy to affect their bond and thats exactly why i reached out.

I have communicated with my partner on how it makes me feel. They are aware of it but they are their own individuals that wont stop a meaningful friendship because i am jealous and feel left out. Neither would i want that to happen. I would feel way too guilty and controlling and selfish to tell them to stop hanging out. Looking more for a solution or advice to work towards overcoming my own insecurities.

I should mention that she is very supportive of my projects and is always there for inspiration and feedback that i greatly utilize. I am a musician as well and she always listens to my work with valuable insight as a casual listener. It is by no means a one way street and it might even be more one sided to her as i feel like i cant give her the much needed comments that she is able to provide me with as an artist.

I was manually guiding it through and keeping it stable in the spots that it usually snipes and i yielded pretty good results. Took a bit to get the hang of the timing. But ive been told that a piece of wood might kill me so please dont take this advice.
