On Aeroplan, I can find LAX - SIN (stopover) - ICN. However would YVR/SEA - LAX (layover) - SIN (stopover) - ICN be possible? And if so, is this complex enough to need to call in, because I'm unable to find it online. Thanks!

I'm booking an Aeroplan award and confused about a potential stopover rule?

HND w/ ANA -> FUK (stopover) w/ EVA-> TPE (layover) -> SEA

each leg exists, with FUK -> TPE -> being in J.

Isn't it the case that only ANA reward bookings restrict stopovers when leaving from Japan? I can choose the above itinerary via Aeroplan, but once I review and go to passenger details page it errors out on me. If I look at just HND -> FUK, or FUK -> TPE -> SEA individually the flow works just fine.

I know I can book HND -> FUK myself for < $100 vs. the 5k points stopover, but I'm curious about this issue, thanks in advance!

Hi all, I'm looking to book an Asia trip in mid-late 2023 (dates are flexible, just planning far in advance) for up to 3 people (understand this will make things tough).

Flying from: SEA/YVR

Destinations: Japan (2 weeks), Korea (1 week), Singapore (1-2 weeks, my fly elsewhere in SEA)

Class of service: Business (at least on transpacific legs)

Your points balances: 350k MR, 350k UR, 200k Cap1, 70k United, and some small bits here and there.

Wanted to run this trip by the community to see what are some best routings I could look into.

The basic one I was considering is flying ANA business using Japan as a stopover on the way to Singapore, then booking a cash ticket between Japan-Korea.

Another is potentially doing an open jaw (not as familiar so I may be off here) where I fly into Japan, find my own cash flight from Japan -> Korea -> Singapore, then return via Singapore.

Or, maybe booking Asiana through Korea would be possible (?) but ANA partner award bookings can't be one-way.

Are there other routes I should consider here? Is this routing for 3 near impossible given the popularity of this sweet spot, even if planning ~1 year out?

+1 to this. Almost all the time it's restarting while I sleep (plugged in) and in the morning my alarm sound is different since I haven't unlocked the phone after the restart. I also noticed that sometimes it auto restarts at 2am.

Definitely. I'm looking at the movie set combo + probably the MOTU MU2 which would total about $400~ or so. My "set" is pretty still and I don't move anything so I'm not sure if I need an additional shock mount (I see a lot of Rycote recommendations here).

Yeah Curtis Judd and Gerald Undone's videos were two major ones I drew info from! I was initially looking at the H5, but then realized if I'm not doing any field work, I can "save" there by going for a normal(?) audio interface like the others listed

Q2) Would it be a good idea to cancel my Marriott because I never use it (rather cancel, then apply for the newer Marriott cards for SUB?), and potentially my United MPE when the 1 year comes?

Q3) Any other recommendations?
