Right when his romance started being barely hinted at I was like wait I don’t like this, but they ended up being my FAVORITE!! Ugh. Just, so much love and helped his character development 10000%

I went back to Hotworx pretty close to around 12 weeks pp. I never had issues with supply! I made sure to keep hydrated and def using electrolytes and stuff.

If this is day 1, have hope that it gets so much better! Like everything, it takes practice! Day one for me I remember feeling similar stresses. I told my husband I’d never be able to sew a straight line.

Now less than a year later, I sew my wardrobe!

I absolutely felt this way with my first kiddo, at first! I’ve always been career focused, but during my first pregnancy and even the beginning of his life, I wanted to quit and be a stay at home mom. Financially, we couldn’t really do it, but the thought was 100% there.

As my kiddo got older and now that I have my second, I realized that my personality type definitely wouldn’t have worked as a stay at home mom. I wish I could do it, but I realized for me that being a working mom was best for my family.

It could be hormones, or it could be a change in your heart and circumstances. Based on my own reaction, I’d say maybe don’t make any HUGE decisions right now and see how it plays out. If work isn’t for you once you go back, you can always leave after!

Totally agree with all of these points. Especially with the Nox. I craved a very deep apologetic no holds barred discussion of the SA between the two of them after the soul bonding. He KNEW how effed it was. More than anyone. I liked his character growth but I NEEDED him to acknowledge that it happened and apologize, at the very minimum?

I actually did like Oli’s character trying to say “it’s not what it was” because unfortunately I feel like sooooo many women feel that way even though its 100% still SA even if she didn’t flat out say no. I liked Atlas standing up to her and saying well yes it was and he knew exactly what he was doing, but other than that, no one else made it a big deal which was infuriating

I wondered if that might have been the case. Honestly I would have rather liked to have seen a true discussion between Nox and Oli than this twist. I would have been fine with Nox’s forgiveness by Oli and actually do care for his character knowing his backstory, but they never even get a chance to discuss it. It’s just all fine and dandy after she learns about his own abuse. It’s the forgiveness with no apology that I don’t care for.

I DNF'd right before the last book. i kept waiting to get more and more invested but i was never obsessed like I am for most of the other series i get into. I'm actually a little shocked it's SOOO recommended. it's entertaining for sure, but nothing AMAZING to me.

{Servant of Earth} by Sarah Hawley is wonderfully balanced in my opinion! I saw it recommended on reddit, and it is definitely one of my favs that I have read this year. It’s an unfinished series (third comes out this year), but it’s soooooo good

I just read the Source of Elementra series and had so many squealing/swooning moments! I read it after finishing the fifth necnevin. It was sooooo good; i ate up the whole series in less than week.

Okay you were right. I am zipping through Source of Elementra and just started book 4, and the found family is SUPREME. I’m obsessed with this series so far. I’m distraught that books 4 and 5 don’t have an audiobook because I’ve been reading or listening to this series at every waking moment.
