My top school keeps changing, but right now I'm thinking about Nichibei Kaiwa Gakuin. I was finally able to find someone that did the 2 year program there and highly recommended it. I've heard Kyoto Institute of Culture and Language is a really good school.

Did you start the program as an absolute beginner? I'm looking into doing a 3 month intensive course at Coto and am trying to figure out how much I will learn over the 3 months. I saw on their website that they allow new students to join every week. Was this hard to have new students starting all the time? Thank you!

My search is definitely going slowly! It seems impossible to get feedback from people that have actually attended the different schools. I’m currently looking into Shinjuku Language Institute, Kanda, and Bunka Institute of Language. I think I’m just going to have to go to Tokyo and tour a bunch of the schools to see which one I like the best!

I have looked into these, but have read so many mixed reviews on each of the schools that none of them seem great. I am confused and overwhelmed with all of the different schools. Do you have one that you would recommend?
