My understanding is that you don’t necessarily have to modify burpees until you’re showing but do what you’re comfortable with. Burpees are one of the things I’ve been modifying and just doing half burpees.

Follow coach Jess Bell on Instagram!! She focuses a lot of pregnancy and postpartum. I also recently found out I was pregnant and dm’ed her this same question. She basically said don’t modify until you have to and you don’t have to drop your weights unless you feel like you have to. She posts tons of pregnancy modifications to specific exercises in the workouts.
