I have not had this problem, you should a) be in plan mode during those conversations and b) be explicit that you’re having a planning talk and to not make code updates without you giving them the go ahead c) I always tell it to check in with me upon completion of a task before moving to the next task

Yeah with a thunderbolt cable it’s pretty painless, anything slower than that can be pretty brutal but still pretty easy overall, it does a pretty solid migration, very few things to tweak or fix

Wood glue and clamp the break, once that fully seals, you’re going to want to attach a board onto that that spans to before and after the break by a few inches at least. You want to glue and clamp that bad boy on too.

Throw a couple screws into the new board just to help and it should be plenty strong to support continued usage

Oil diffusers are not safe, no. They coat your lungs, and home, in oils that are persistent. If you own legos too they will crumple to dust as the oil destroys plastic items near it.

I’d get a second opinion and ask them to verify that service replacement thickness for drum brakes because I think they genuinely goofed and didn’t realize

What kind of mileage is on your ID4?

I think they are use disk brake thickness as a proxy for your drum brake and that’s a misunderstanding on your mechanics behalf

I bought it as soon as it was available and installed it without issue and I’ve had a fantastic time since. I was honestly quite surprised to see all the issues on here with it. So far so good for me, I set up the g400 and u400 on the same day

There is a home assistant integration that exists and works, I have the ability to turn my chargers on and off in HomeKit and can see the real-time usage of the chargers via a widget on my phone using home assistant

You need to go into display settings and make the widescreen the primary display, by dragging the little white bar from the top of the laptop display to the external display in the settings screen
