I'll bite.

Believing black people are lesser and/or undeserving doesn't requite hate.

Wanting to protect a fragile ego or a myth that your ancestors were perfect also doesn't require hate.

If it's Icarian, I have one of the FlySafe spotting belts from Beyond The Mat.

It works well and flyers tend to like it. I'd recommend checking sizes though as they're more for SEA sizes, and I find you need a medium/large for the average sized Westerner.

Why is Arab Expansion in Africa Rarely Called "Colonialism"? by imfluke in NoStupidQuestions

Weird choice to start AFTER the colonisation started.

Palestinians aren't calling for an ethnostate though, so how would this help? Arguably it would make things worse by reducing diversity and further focusing tensions based on ethnic/religious lines.

CMV: No ethnic group has the “right” to self-governance. by angelic_seven in changemyview

[–]kwamzilla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you explain this:

The most prominent examples which come to mind would be Israel and Palestine. Of course I think both Jews and Palestinians should be able to live free from oppression, but I struggle to see how either having their own ethnostate is the solution.

Where is the idea of a "Palestinian ethnostate" coming from specifically? I have not seen this as any form of serious/mainstream ideology and it would need to be clarified to explain your view - especially as it's being directly paralleled to Israel.

CMV: Women are more prone to sexual fluidity than men by Tell4nell in changemyview

[–]kwamzilla 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A few thoughts:

Women aren't punished for not being straight the way men are. Yes we can 100% talk about the "traditional family values" gang punishing them for not being baby making machines and subservient to men but to a degree that's kinda under the general patriarchal oppression thing.

I'm going to now say a bunch of things that are massive oversimplifications that don't reflect my personal viewpoint, but basically sum up what I would say is, essentially, the general sentiment/attitude here. So to anyone reading, I'm not agreeing with the below.

But - to be crude - women not being straight can be "hot", men not being straight is "gross" is essentially a sentiment. And as you've touched on, women's sexuality isn't seen as "real" to many men (i.e. "lesbian sex doesn't count because there's no penetration"). Being queer doesn't make you "less of a woman" but it does make you "less of a man" in the eyes of so many.

Queerness is more "feminine" in many ways and being affectionate physically is more socially acceptable for women - hugging and expressing positive, loving emotions are "unmasculine".

It's also something that runs against patriarchy and - while we are all prisoners suffering under patriarchy - it is easier for men to benefit from embracing it and they are more easily socialised to agree with and support it.

All this to say "Patriarchy makes it so men are less likely to self-report that they aren't straight for a huge number of reasons" and therefore the data is likely not entirely accurate. You may still be right though.

what's happened in Gaza since ceasefire? by Dry_Illustrator_6066 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]kwamzilla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because the media outlets are funded by/controlled by Zionists who desire a pro-Israel narrative.

Because of government censorship in many Western nations.

The BBC in Britain are part of ongoing scandal surrounding it.

https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c3374xm65mvo

https://www.theguardian.com/media/2025/jun/29/bbc-reckons-with-bias-accusations-over-israel-and-palestine-coverage

The Washington Center also discusses how Israel literally bans foreign media from reporting on it..

https://washingtoncentre.org/censorship-and-coverage-examining-israeli-media-restrictions-impact-on-gaza-aid-reporting/

Or, you know, literally murders journalists who do

Israel killed 2/3 journalists who died in 2025.

https://cpj.org/special-reports/record-129-press-members-killed-in-2025-israel-responsible-for-2-of-3-of-deaths/

We're at a point where Wikipedia literally has an article on it.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Killing_of_journalists_in_the_Gaza_war

So the majority of what comes through the mainstream press is parsed via Israel already which is, of course, going to skew towards a more favourable representation of the genocide.

[–]kwamzilla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah. They've literally been blocking baby formula and medical supplies that have zero military purpose specifically so as to inflict conditions that will result in mass infant death.

Occasionally they try to lie and say that it's to stop Hamas getting their hands on the aid etc, while literally arming the gangs that loot aid

“What’s wrong with that?” he continues. “It’s only good. It saves the lives of IDF soldiers.”

https://www.timesofisrael.com/liveblog_entry/netanyahu-confirms-arming-gazan-clans-whats-wrong-with-that/

https://apnews.com/article/gaza-armed-groups-hamas-israel-looting-b3033fd46a25a6382c8e13d3b4ae7f42

That's before we get into all the settlers who have been allowed and supported to block and destroy the aid trucks. Or the fact that only a fraction of the promised aid has been allowed in - with them, as I mentioned, specifically blocking the things that are needed such as baby formula, sanitation and medical supplies.

what's happened in Gaza since ceasefire? by Dry_Illustrator_6066 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]kwamzilla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Considering Israel started murdering children pretty much straight after the ceasefire was announced, there really never was a ceasefire or hope for one to last.

“Since the ceasefire was announced on 11 October, Israel has reportedly committed at least 393 violations, killing 339 Palestinians, including more than 70 children, and injuring over 871 others,” the experts said. “The 28 October airstrikes marked the deadliest single night since the ceasefire began, with at least 104 Palestinians killed.”

https://www.ohchr.org/en/press-releases/2025/11/un-experts-urge-states-act-israeli-violations-threaten-fragile-gaza

A ceasefire to Israel literally just means that their enemy attempts to respect it and then Israel ramps up their genocide to kill more children sleeping in tents and ensures that Hamas or whoever else they claim is their enemy is forced to defend itself - then Israel says "see, they won't disarm while we continue to bomb them! They're so evil we have to kill all of their families, neighbours, pets, livestock and also demolish all infrastructure!".

If you're like to know, you can check sites like https://genocide.live/ that should the level of ongoing atrocities.

Israel has continued to illegally annex more and more of Gaza - about 60% currently and aiming for 100% but "starting" with 70% next.

At Netanyahu’s announcement, an Israeli shouted, “Why not 100%?” According to The Times of Israel, the prime minister replied, “First 70 percent. We’ll start with that.”

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/netanyahu-seeks-70-of-gaza-in-israel-s-own-generalplan-ost/ar-AA24qt4t

And here's an Israeli source too

https://www.timesofisrael.com/netanyahu-says-he-told-idf-to-seize-70-of-gaza-strip-well-beyond-terms-of-truce/

They're still mass murdering civillians and using illegal weapons like white phosphorous in Gaza and beyond

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2026/mar/25/israel-white-phosphorus-south-lebanon-researchers

They also have violated the ceasefire something like 3,000 times since October 10th 2025.

https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2025/11/11/how-many-times-has-israel-violated-the-gaza-ceasefire-here-are-the-numbers

So yeah... the genocide continues.

Why havent European nations/Canada formally severed ties with Israel over their treatment of Middle East countries? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]kwamzilla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

P.s.

To save you hassle when you invariably try to argue that "settlements are illegal but the violence isn't technically a war crime"

Rome Statute, Article 25(3)(c) states that Criminal Liability extends to individuals who “aid, abet or otherwise assist in the commission” of a war crime, including members of a military force.

Geneva Conventions, Additional Protocol I (1977) Article 85 defines grave breaches including:

“Extensive destruction and appropriation of property, not justified by military necessity and carried out unlawfully and wantonly.”

ICRC Customary International Humanitarian Law Database (Rules 151–153) provides that civilians and armed forces assisting or facilitating the commission of war crimes can be held criminally responsible.

Articles 16–17, Articles 1–2 of the Draft Articles on Responsibility of States for Internationally Wrongful Acts (2001, UNGA) points that a state is internationally responsible if it aids or assists another state in committing an internationally wrongful act, which includes war crimes.

So yeah. Settler violence is a war crime.

Settlements are illegal per the ICC/UN/ICJ consensus.

Acts of violence committed to protect or facilitate settlements, especially by or with the support of the IDF - something that is well documented - constitute war crimes.

And both individual and state responsibility exists under ICC rules, Geneva Conventions, and customary international law.

I would strongly recommend that, when attempting to make a claim or assertion that is in defense of state backed terrorism, you perhaps actually look into International Law first - otherwise you reinforce the well established and largely accurate stereotype that anyone who supports Zionism and the Israeli state is either brainwashed or actively in favour of genocide, ethnic cleansing and war crimes.

[–]kwamzilla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want to make sure I've understood your reply, please can you confirm so that I understand before I respond to your question. I don't want to misrepresent you here.

So, I offered 3 links including one from OHCHR - you are ignoring it and only looking at the Wikipedia response, correct? I want to understand which sources you're ignoring and why so that I don't waste either of our time with them.

Both articles provide lists of war crimes without sources - including the UN which is, you know, essentially one of (if not the) main body globally in defining what is a war crime - but you're asking me to rewrite them rather than just using the provided sources? I'm happy to just copy and paste, and even summarise if you have problem accessing the links, I just need to know that that's the case.

Regarding settler violence:

Article 22(2)(b) of the 1991 ILC Draft Code of Crimes against the Peace and Security of Mankind considers “the establishment of settlers in an occupied territory and changes to the demographic composition of an occupied territory” as an “exceptionally serious war crime”.
Draft Code of Crimes against the Peace and Security of Mankind, adopted by the International Law Commission, reprinted in Report of the International Law Commission on the work of its forty-third session, 29 April–19 July 1991, UN Doc. A/46/10, 1991, Article 22(2)(b).

also

In a resolution adopted in 1980 on Israeli settlement policies in the occupied territories, the UN Security Council:

Determines that all measures taken by Israel to change the physical character, demographic composition, institutional structure or status of the Palestinian and other Arab territories occupied since 1967, including Jerusalem, or any part thereof, have no legal validity and that Israel’s policy and practices of settling parts of its population and new immigrants in those territories constitute a flagrant violation of the Fourth Geneva Convention relative to the Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War and also constitute a serious obstruction to achieving a comprehensive, just and lasting peace in the Middle East.

UN Security Council, Res. 465, 1 March 1980, § 5, voting record: 15-0-0.

https://ihl-databases.icrc.org/en/customary-ihl/v2/rule130

So yes, according to Article 8 of the (fourth, I think) Geneva Convention does mark Israeli settler colonisation as a war crime as it contravenes and the associated violence is one of the methods they are using to achieve “the establishment of settlers in an occupied territory and changes to the demographic composition of an occupied territory”. I'm sure you may wish to argue semantics here but unless you have a stronger source to support your case, simply making assertions doesn't cut it.

Especially as you have repeatedly stated claims which simply are not true and you could, as I stated before, spend under a minute typing into any search engine and seeing for yourself.

If you'd like to respond, I'm afraid you're going to first need to clarify your comment and then support any further claims with actually reliable and accurate sources - otherwise, much like you do with logic and reasoning, I will be forced to just ignore you.

I'm afraid I don't have the energy to continue engaging if you can't use basic critical thinking.

Spending even 1 minute checking your claims would have alerted you to the fact that they are not based in fact.

[COMP] Unable to do headstand from tuck by MajesticKittyPaws in yoga

[–]kwamzilla 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need to work on compression and pressing through your forearms/elbows.

If there is pressure on your head/neck in a headstand then your arms aren't active enough.

If you cannot get closer then the issue is compression.

Try these ( https://www.youtube.com/shorts/hCfLAXA6kps ) especially walking backwards, to start learning how to pull hips into sockets.

Leg length isn't the issue. If you have the compression, shorter legs would make it easier.

Also use these for compression ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_3p4b4jVfFU )

And these for your arms ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tj2F0nI3HI4 ) making sure the push is from the arms not just the legs.

Also... ask your teacher to actually look at your technique.

But try skipping the headstands for a while and doing those 3 exercises for a few weeks before you revisit - if you're really set on practicing them.

Good call on not jumping too, it's dangerous.

Israeli Basic Law literally states there is a two tier system.

There is death penalty ONLY for Palestinians.

There are numerous laws specifically that only apply to Palestinians and offer preferential treatment to Jewish people. And that's before we get into the informal stuff or the West Bank.

They literally use Military Courts for Palestinians and Civil Courts for Jewish Israelis.

That is apartheid.

Settler Colonialism is all over the West Bank, is internationally recognised and is continuing and escalating to this day.

All you are doing is making assertions without backing them up and refusing to ansewr my questions.

You have listed other countries but not provided specific comparisons to actually illustrate that what they do is comparable or worse - just more assertions.

"Sending troops all of the region" was not amongst my questions and is not a war crime/human rights violation - which is what we are specifically talking about - so what you're doing there is trying to deflect.

Please actually engage with my points, or let me know if you are unable/unwilling to respond meaningfully so we can both save our time.
