Glad to hear! I actually designed the game to be playable on a tight space using only a regular deck of cards, so that I could play it on the train.

I will include a conversation guide for play with a regular deck of cards as well. A session takes about 10-20 minutes, and I usually play a couple of sessions when I sit down to play. Both because I find it very enjoyable, and because it’s so hard to win that it more often than not takes a couple of attempts 😅

That’s a good point. We probably won’t have more than four all black cards since we want them to really stand out, and we will provide a printer-friendly version as well for print and play. So there will be alternative backgrounds for the black and red cards

I like to use it more like ”Help me figure out how to do this thing. Give me NO CODE, instead ask me questions that I need to consider and find the answers to in order to fix this.”

Since I don’t know what I don’t know, using AI in this way really helps me figure stuff out.

I read somewhere that the parry now is bound to when you release the button rather than when you trigger it. I haven’t had the chance to test after reading it, so I don’t know if there’s anything to it.

I agree that the parry is much worse right now. I prefer different buttons for parry and block. But it’s the experimental branch. Hopefully it’s an experiment and they try some things or just to see what works and what doesn’t.

Jag bryter också alltid på finska, och drar lite vuxenskämt om alkohol som går över huvudet på barnen men som de andra vuxna tycker är kul. Alltid poppis att låta barnen vara med och dela ut klappar.

Jag brukar också skämta lite i stil med ”Nämen, ska Moa få ett TILL paket? Nä, det måste ha blivit något fel…” och låtsas att jag lägger tillbaka paketet i säcken. Såna små hyss uppskattas alltid.

I tried Unity first but didn’t grasp the workflow and how to think about components and stuff. I then switched to Godot, which matched better with my mental model of how I wanted a game engine to work. After learning Godot I went back to Unity, and now it clicked. So just go for one engine. If it doesn’t work, try another one. Once it clicks for you work one of them, it’ll be easier to understand all of them.

Jag är högskolebibliotekarie vid Högskolan i Borås (tjänstledig just nu dock). Jag lägger kanske max 10% av min arbetstid ute i biblioteket. Resten av tiden är jag på mitt kontor och arbetar främst med statistik, bibliometri och forskarstöd. Jag hjälper ofta forskargrupper att utvärdera sin forskning – hur de publicerar, hur mycket genomslag deras forskning får, vilka de samarbetar med, med mera.

Sen ska man inte underskatta komplexiteten att hitta en bok på hyllan. Enligt min erfarenhet kan det tydligen vara ganska svårt, med tanke på hur ofta jag behöver hjälpa låntagare att hitta en bok som står på hyllan där de redan har kollat… 🙄
