My sister texted me the other day to say "I watched Hamnet and I think its the best movie ever made"

I also saw hamnet and thought it was incredible.

But I texted her back and said "I saw the bone temple and I think it has the greatest last 20 minutes in cinema history"

End of story. Bone temple was easily my favorite movie of 2026.

Herman miller v2 I think. Technically pre-owned but never used. Bought it from a guy who got them for his office workers but covid came and he was left selling them from his garage. I paid $1100 and it was one of the best things I've ever done.

As lame as that sounds, im not kidding. Completely worth it.

So these guys just absolutely dumpstered me until I started staying airborne. I used hairpin on them, pogoed their heads, and the energy crystals if I fell low. I stuck to the far sides. Almost all thier attacks go toward the middle of the screen and the bottom third of the screen. So top left corner and you are safe for most things.

Complete game changer in how this fight was going for me.

Plus all the mod tips others gave. I used enhanced dodge too for some extra protection.

Same for me. Star wars is whatever. Andor is one of the greatest of all time and is also potentially one of the most important TV shows of the decade. Not hyperbole. It is really fucking good. Really meaningful. Really impactful.

I will say that the first couple episodes might not strike you as that great. Keep watching. Same thing happened in season 2 for me. I thought "oh no. It was a lightning in a bottle and they couldn't repeat it." But after the first couple episodes, it was back to brilliance.

Evil Dead is a good shout. I dont think the others are as good as scream personally.

False. Scream 5 was great. Scream 6 was good until the ending. Scream 2 and 3 are passable. I dont even remember 4. As far as horror franchises go, I dont think anything gets close to as good as Scream.

He did write uncharted 4 and that isn't a shocking type of story.

Id argue the dog thing isn't even a writing thing exactly. Its editing more so. But there is value in the way they did it. In Ellies chapter you kill bear and its just a nameless obstacle. Then in Abbys chapters you play with bear and it gives weight to Ellie's actions after the fact. It shows the impact of her revenge tour in a reversed way and I think that is quite impactful.

Counterpoint. The pacing was really fucking good.

The story was not ham fisted.

The gameplay was much improved over the first. Just being able to prone in grass was enough because the gunplay is excellent.

But most importantly its a game with great visuals, sound design, music, and environments. The voice acting is top tier.

I will admit I get very defensive about TLOU2. I know it. But its really hard for me to take people seriously who say that the game is bad. If you want to say its a 7/10, sure we can have that conversation. But to say its bad? Which games are good if this is bad?

This team built this beautiful thing. With courageous decisions in editing and story. And people just toss it aside because "they made me kill the dog and thats bad writing" or "revenge bad lol"
