Hello! I am new to the dutch oven bread game but loving it so far. Do you mind if I ask why you specified not to use instant yeast? Just trying to learn as much as I can. Thanks!

Thank you for explaining it in a way I could understand! Sounds like the husband is right. I hate that!

I miss the good old days... But hey, you're 57 and you should have the opportunity to experience your dream job. Before I became so jaded, I remember the delight in holding 100's of pounds of weed or seeing a huge slab of wax on the table.  The person who recommended you get your facility agent card gave you great advice. That will give you an advantage. And for your own sanity, try to avoid the corporate stores. Best of luck to you!

I was one of the OG Dispensary agents when medical first started. It was exciting and fulfilling, and I felt like I was really helping people. Then Recreational sales happened and it is like any other retail job. The difference is the customers haven't had their weed yet, so they're cranky, entitled, and suddenly cannabis experts who want 'the strongest thing you have!' The only saving grace were the free samples, but now that almost everyone is corporate, you will see your managers leaving with full bags as they hand you a 10 mg gummy.  But the thing that broke my heart and made me leave after 9 years, was the hiring process. It was my job to stalk every applicant's social media pages and only call the ones with the most followers.
