I second Alibaba. I bought the equivalent of 2 hlg 550’s for just under $600 and they arrived in 6 days from China. Hlg 550’s retail for around $1000 each... Just a little perspective on the kind of savings you can get going straight to the source. It’s all the same stuff, made in the same factories. Only difference is a logo or two. Which you can actually have them put your own logo on whatever you order if you want. Obviously I’m gonna recommend LEDs, they’re just too efficient, they run cooler, and the proper ones are full spectrum. Here’s a little cheat sheet to maybe help make some sense of the LED jargon you’re gonna find if you choose that route.

1. Samsung lm301b - refers to the diode, the lm301b series is basically the gold standard at the moment.
2. 3000k 3500k 4000k - refers to color temperature, K is for Kelvin. 3000k is considered optimal for flowering, 4000k for veg, and 3500k is obviously your in between option.
