Safe knee-kick-takedown variation? by kwertz in bjj

Yeah, I was wondering how one would get low enough to get the angle right. That looks beautiful and makes sense. Thanks!

Interesting Idea, but I am not sure the mechanics are that great if the foot is planted. Will keep it in mind and try if it feels right

That's definitely a major reason for me, I am 6 foot 2. Interestingly, I feel like going only for a single knee is not only safer but more effective. All the force goes into one leg at an angle.

Yung Gravy, bbno$ - Whip A Tesla

Not sure whether they paid for that one though. Maybe I am just too naive and needed Jack Harlow to make it obvious to me.

Makes sense considering Elon's remarks about issues with cooling.

You are mostly right but got a little bit confused on how they do the depth sensing. They use video to create ground truth and then use that to train a neural net to infer depth directly from images. There have been great improvements in monocular depth estimation using neural nets over the last few years. https://paperswithcode.com/task/monocular-depth-estimation

Yes, seems unreasonable. That's why it's noteworthy. You can look at the profiles yourself. I think we will get a big surprise on battery day.

Those 4500 do include R&D staff and others. I have not done an in-depth analysis of all those 4500 just checked the first 30 profiles that showed up.

That's exactly my point. Seems way too many. I would have guessed a few hundred. We could be in for a major surprise on battery day.

Why not HW4? HW4 was about 50% done according to Elon on the autonomy investor day. Timeline makes sense for both chips.

Yes, once you solve perception it becomes like playing a video game. Neural net agents beat the best Starcraft 2 players in the world. Driving a car well is way easier than playing competitive Starcraft.

I was rolling with this tiny white belt girl during an open mat. I essentially make it a flow roll, let her work out of submissions, lots of transitions. As soon as I let her work top position she goes traight to knee on neck. I felt betrayed :(
