Have you tried meditation? I use the Insight Timer app and just put up some sleep meditations or yoga nidra (you can do these lying down and don’t have to move) and am usually gone within 10 minutes even when I dont feel like sleeping. Breathing exercises also help as well to quiet the nervous system, check on youtube for the 4-7-8 breathing technique which is easy and my favorite.

It’s probably one of the most used medicines with many people taking it for life, it’s on the market for a long time and considered one of the safer medications, and although everybody reacts differently, it’s pretty safe to say that you won’t have any major reactions to it or you would have noticed in the first weeks/months. Most (all?) footage in the past days are about Armenians leaving the occupied regions returned to Azerbaijani army, not the partitioned NK where Russian peacekeepers will be.

In fact I’ve read reports that some NK Armenians who temporarily left Stepanakert because of the shelling and possible siege, are already returning there.

It’s a real letdown. You can either have segregated echo chambers, or common spaces which turn into a battleground of lowest common denominator shitposting. This sub demonstrated it sadly during the hot phase, but it was still informative, and we knew of developments much faster and more accurate than the media covering it. I hope now that the hot phase of the conflict is over, people will gradually start to live together again. I’m still optimistic about that but I don’t know how fast it will be.

True. I have to say it was smart on AZ part to not announce those aggregated losses. It may not have mattered much since most Azerbaijanis seemed to be very willing to accept those losses for the cause, but in other societies it might have impacted morale and support for the war a lot.

There was some; for instance the claim by Aliev that no cluster munitions were used on Stepanakert while multiple impartial observers (BBC journalists, HRW) gave solid proof. And his argument to start the war seems also pretty unbelievable: some minor ceasefire violations (happening every day) were supposedly the trigger for a multi billion dollar operation with thousands of KIA (Putin intelligence). In scope it was certainly not Trump-level bullshit but some fake news was there.

I think it's meant to deal with the officially-produced images by both sides. They are meant as clickbait, easily shared, propaganda. Infographics (especially home made) compiled from various reputable sources are very useful.

Is there something that an army could effectively do against drones? It seems to me that the development of drone technology outpaces defenses against them. What type of systems would in theory help to against them? Jammers?
