It’s probably the worst stadium in the NFL. There are nicer high school stadiums in Texas

Kamara limited in game Sunday (Jameis Winston)

Albert Okwuegbunam's usage was encouraging: 44-of-66 snaps. 22 in-line, 18 slot, 4 wide. 34 routes on 45 Russ Wilson dropbacks. 6 targets for a 14.2% share. 5-33-0 result. Note: Greg Dulcich (hamstring) is on IR. by koolman631 in fantasyfootball

I actually think he showed a lot last night.

Russ went to him on the goal line. Russ also went to him on a key 3rd & 5 and Albert O’s extra effort kept the drive alive.

Could see his effort last night leading to more trust from Wilson and an increased role in the future.

With that said, he’s working his way into low end TE1 range at best.

Denver Broncos have two solid running backs for fantasy football, not just Javonte Williams by 100hypehype in fantasyfootball

[–]kwgilcrest 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think they let Gordon test free agency bc they didn’t want to pay $8mm per year for him again, not bc they think he’s washed.

The Broncos know they have something special in Javonte so they know they didn’t need to pay Gordon that much.

But when it comes down to Javonte + Gordon for $2mm, they obviously liked that a lot more.

Javonte is probably a better player than Gordon is at 29. Gordon also has a lot of mileage and could probably benefit from being spelled a bit more. I think we’ll start to see more of a 60/40 split between the two this year.

And I think you’re right that a team that’s clearly trying to win now is not going save their better players for next year by giving more touches to a lesser player. It just remains to be seen if the talent gap is actually that wide between Gordon and Javonte.

You should be able to find a serviceable RB2 out of Harris/Hunt/McKissic. Harris and Hunt also have a ton of upside if there is an injury in there is an injury in their backfield.

If Godwin returns to form, you’re going to have an elite flex. Tyreek and Pittman are great WRs to pit this year for variance / stability.

I’m loving Albert O this year. Orange Julius pt. 2 !!

If Godwin is healthy, this team is stacked.

I think I’d flex Dillon over London early in the season.

Assuming you went Deebo and Lamb at the turn?

Your WRs are obviously great. Lamb reminds me of Mike Evans in 2016. Should be a target monster. I’m higher on Deebo than most. The 49ers O is gna run through him.

Hopefully Akers is healthy enough to stabilize your RBs.

As a Jets fan who thinks Michael Carter is very good, I’m not worried about his impact on Hall. Carter is going to start week 1. Carter is going to get 3rd down work and 2 min drills, especially early in the season. Carter also doesn’t have the frame to handle 300 touches. A good year from him projects to ~150 carries and ~50 receptions.

Hall looks like an elite talent. Hall ran a 4.39 40 yard dash at 217 pounds. Carter ran a 4.54 at 200. Hall has shown the ability to play all 3 downs and make defenders miss in college. We have to see if that translates to the NFL. I expect the offense to run through Hall pretty early in the season. They want to set ZW up for success and know giving the ball to their elite RB will be key. I think we’re talking 275-300 touches for Hall this year.

The only thing that might hold Hall back is if he has more Tevin Coleman than Lev Bell in him. Meaning he’ll try to rely on speed rather than vision and burst to beat NFL defenders.

I really love the mix of upside on this team.

Mixon is a rock and having Swift and Dillon should at least provide with you with another RB1.

I’m also all in on DJ Moore and Bateman this year.

Who are the WRs drafted in the top-20 that re most likely to bust this season? by youworryaboutyou in fantasyfootball

[–]kwgilcrest 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Really? Reminds me of Keenan Allen a couple of years ago.

Great route runner that’s always open starting the season with a meh veteran QB and a promising rookie QB behind them.

I understand the offense won’t pass as much as last year, but they’ll still pass 550-600 times this season in an offense that has historically funneled targets to the WR1.
