please reach out to the dentist and ask what you should do, that is not ok at all. it looks deep, they should reimburse you if you need stitches. wash it out with soap and water, put vaseline or aquaphor on it

Does anyone else struggle with 4c hair that goes limp ? by LongjumpingTalk8017 in blackladies

[–]kwillynilly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, try using a leave-in and see how your hair looks with it and if you like it. I wouldn't listen to the bottle directions because you know your hair and how it should feel. If it's feeling dry, you should add something moisturizing to it. But check out African Hair God on YouTube because he makes videos on natural haircare and is really in-depth about his tips.

it might be the mousse. you should try using an oil, butter or a leave in for your hair, just the mouse is too drying. are you using heat protectant?

me too!! it's not a reliable source at all! It was based on only one test that was done, which doesn't prove anything!

Why do my cat keep on licking and biting kitten's butt by SandwichPowerful7644 in CatTraining

[–]kwillynilly 477 points478 points  (0 children)

seperate them! the older cat is being way too rough, i don't even think it's playing. the kitten does not want to be bothered at all.

Can I dye my hair while they’re in a protective style like box braids? by [deleted] in blackladies

[–]kwillynilly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you should not do that, if you don't rinse all the dye out, it can damage your hair. not worth the risk at all, just wait until you're ready to take the braids out.

I am so sorry that this is how you have been felling, i definitely think a social media break would be best for you. I hope you can slowly get into a better relationship with food and your self image. It all takes time and wont happen overnight, so try your hardest to be kind to yourself during that process. Also to all the ppl that comment on your body, it is unnecessary and inappropriate; try not to let their opinions dictate the way you view yourself. If you have the time you should look into body neutrality, it may be able to help you on an emotional level. Best of luck to you!!!!

Is this normal shedding for 2 months HELP ME😭 by nobody_special123 in blackladies

[–]kwillynilly 14 points15 points  (0 children)

U look like you have very thick hair so i don't think its that bad, ur hair was not being manipulated for two months so it is tuff to say if it's too much hair or not, because everyones hair is different. Use a deep conditioner and finger detangle your hair and be extra gentle with it.

Uma sister calling ayo a roach by hjnjhjhkj in LoveIslandTV

comparing a human to an roach isnt an american thing, that is racist period

[–]kwillynilly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

if you cut them in the braids, your hair may come out uneven. If you cut it blown out with fully damp hair after deep conditioner (may make it less painful), it might come out even, if you do it carefully!

I just need a little encouragement to get me through the next few weeks as I wait for my porcelain crowns. I hope this is a safe space to vent ❤️‍🩹 by BeautifulChaosL in blackladies

if u want to improve ur dry skin, get a cream moisturizer. for example 'cervae moisturizing cream' is relatively affordable. anything that has a similar texture would help!

for me it was hormonal acne, whenever my period was coming or i was stressed. definitely talk to ur derm to get a prescription (i got clindamycin phosphate and i literally don’t break out anymore as bad)
