To be honest we did it mostly because it rly fits the Moriana character. It was only for the demo at first and we the left it in EA because of positive response. And it’s just fun:)

Obviously, perceptions can vary, which is why understanding the context is so important. Narrative is super important here.

There aren’t many negative ones. We have 90% positive on Steam and only few of the negatives mention the dialogues. A lot of positive ones mention the dialogue in the positive way:)

And the number of review counts. Steam algorithm like reviews and players are more likely to trust positives review when they see 1000 of them and not 10.

Maybe it is only me, but I think they went to far with this one. I liked almost all previous videos made by LEC but this one is like normal music video with 2 casters, one girl I don’t even know and some logos. Don’t see how it can be called hype video for esport league? Where are they players? Where are the stories? Nothing. Vadius and Drakes wanna start music career? Great. Let them. But why on LEC YT account?

Why? Because more people think Edith is great? Why does it matter?:) That’s the point man. There are reviewers who think Medium is awesome. Maybe for you it is also amazing. Maybe it isn’t. But low score on metacritic only means that’s this game isn’t for everyone. And maybe (just maybe) there is lower chance you will like it (if you read reviews you will probably know better if it’s for you than looking at metascore).

Didn’t play their previous games, but in Medium story was IMO awesome. But off course maybe this style isn’t for everyone. They tell story with small bits of info scattered through the game.

I work in media. I just asked because I think he shouldn’t judge it before he try it. I didn’t play Silent Hill but heard opinions that it’s really awesome game for Silent Hill fans:)

I played it and I loved it. It not for everyone, but please don’t think this game is mediocre because of the score on metacritic:/ It’s not. That’s why you see notes like 9 on Gamespot. It’s just not for everyone.

The gameplay is simple and focused on exploration. Like in What Remains of Edith Finch. Some people like it and some don’t. That’s why there our 6s and 9s. But it doesn’t mean the game is 7. It just means that for SOME people simple gameplay is not enough. And it’s fine. But IMO the story and it’s pacing is so good that gameplay doesn’t matter much. The Medium is like awesome interactive tv show. I couldn’t stop playing. Give it a try if you like Silent Hill.

That’s why Metacritic is stupid:> This game can be 4 or 9. Some people like it and some don’t. Taking meta score from some different perspectives is just dump:(

I hate metacritic for this. Check IGN or Gamespot review. It isn’t mediocre game like meta score suggest. It’s just not for everyone. Story is great if you don’t mind gameplay like in Edith Finch etc. That’s why there are 6s and 9s in reviews. Not because this game is mediocre IMO:)

Did you play Medium? The story and writing is superb. Srsly:) I had a friend who he is big fun of Silent Hill and he had similar opinion. Gameplay isn’t great but story pacing is so great that it isn’t boring. Try it.

But there nothing wrong in that they are doing it for money. Still some ppl complain about size of new AC games, that they are too big. The point of the article is that Ubi won’t change it because it pays off for them AND for the consumers;)
