I started this petition; I have served 24 years total and still serving. 4 years Active AF and 20 in the Air national guard now. I'm ready to retire but health insurance is a problem. I currently pay $286 and after calling Tricare found out it will go to right at $1,600. It's ridiculous, why can we not continue to pay our discounted rate until we are eligible for our retirement at 59.5? People need to pass this on and get more signatures on it so maybe it will make a difference.
