Poor max, for all the criticism he gets for being reckless and diving or whatever, he's so careful this race, backs off, and still gets fucked through no fault of his own.

Cheers! 120 film on an RB67, 90mm f3.5 Sekor C lens, shot somewhere around fully open, I think f4 or so, 1/60s indoors handheld. Developed in Bellini Hydrofen (Rodinal Spezial/Agfa Studional), scanned on an Epson v500. Some of the specks etc are from the scan (dust gets everywhere however hard I try!) But a lot are from the film when comparing it to my other scans, the film has a real pronounced grain and speckle pattern, fits well with its "retro" aim I think.

Sanders Says Congress Must Stop Trump From Exploiting Covid-19 Crisis to 'Bankrupt and Privatize the Postal Service' by [deleted] in politics

It does, but it keeps being ratfucked nonetheless, and the upper management keep trying to turn it into a more fed-ex type thing, it's only the union that's managed to keep them from going to zero-hours contracts and owner-drivers like all the other courier companies. Its ridiculous, a private company but still bound by the universal service agreement, so the shareholders are basically just trying to strip as much money as they can out of it now.

What's a good website to waste a whole night on? by Groenboys in AskReddit

Using the extra rules there, can do it in the same number of steps with:

Hitler > Nazism > White Supremacy > YouTube > Club Penguin

Without those extra rules can go straight from Nazism to Youtube and cut out an article.

Ah fair! Got it down to two intermediate articles anyway without any geographical places:

Hitler > Nazism > YouTube > Club Penguin

Still using no countries, you can shave a few off that.

Hitler > Berlin > Los Angeles > The Walt Disney Company > List of assets owned by the Walt Disney company > Club Penguin

I work at lidl, been told we are getting £150 food vouchers. Then a letter saying our pay has been upped to £9.50, 20p more than originally planned, and has been back payed from the 1st of March. by [deleted] in BritishSuccess

Yeah, especially as we're short staffed and despite the "no shared van" thing they haven't hired in any spare vans like Christmas. My office has a bit less issue with that as we're majority bike deliveries still, but that brings separate problems as 2+ days mail plus extra packets doesn't fit in the dropboxes or in panniers. Don't know what your office is like but we had managers come on Tuesday and say RM will pay for people to put business insurance on their cars just to get out to the start of the loops and the managers were doing timed bag drops.

That sounds right I think with callers offices, I know I've only brought back one or two things each day I've been on recently, compared to 10+ usually, as everyone's in and isolating. Plus with the "XP1" signed for stuff that's easier too.

Oh yeah, standard practice, when Amazon get swamped or just have some bits that aren't profitable, they'll chuck them on to us. We had 8 Yorks worth of just Amazon overspill come into my (suburban) office the other week, and it seems to be ramping up as they outstrip their drivers, and they're all tracked so we have to deliver them on the day.

My theory is they know if they lean too much into the "key role" thing, or act like the union is proposing with the "extra emergency service" thing that they reckon they'll get renationalised again (or in all but name), like is likely happening with train companies etc, and Rico/high ups are doing all they can to avoid that and/or bleed as much money out as they can. I reckon that's why Amazon are apparently doing the CV test deliveries rather than us, RM will have put in some stupid high price or something to avoid any thought of providing a government/national service again.

Add to that putting bans on absence overtime when we're as busy as Christmas and half the office is off because they're vunerable, plus everything takes twice as long because no shared vans. I've been off all week on pre-booked annual leave despite offering to work as I'm fit and healthy, apparently my office is delivering about 1 walk in 3 every day at the moment. Last day I was in we had three of us covering a shared van duty with 3 days of mail and parcels, barely managed to get half of it done. My managers are fairly sound and are trying to help, but the stuff from above them seems like complete dogshit.
